-rounds of 5 hang cleans at 135lbs with 10 pistol squats
I completed 5 rounds then took a 2 min break and then did another 3 rounds. Heart beat: 164bpm. My goal was to not let go of the barbell during each set of hang cleans. @richterfit0624
also challenged me to do 2 mins of pistol squats for his enjoyment. On a side note, I have noticed a major improvement in my ankle mobility by doing pistol squats. A loss is a loss! I celebrated my 31st birthday, so you can imagine there was eating that went off track. However, I think there was a bigger reason for my small loss:
I only exercised and lifted weights 1 time this week. I sort of decided to experiment with this and I can confirm that for my journey that BOTH are very important to maintain 1-2lbs per week.

Changing up the way I do flys to help save my shoulders. Here’s some Pronated Grip Floor Flys for y’all.
Doing these on the floor limits the range of motion. I’ve been having some shoulder issues so doing flys like this have definitely help to save the shoulders. I’m using a pronated grip here for some extra upper chest feels.
PS. My shoulder issues are quite minor and my physio has cleared me to workout. Listen to your body and don’t be stupid. You don’t wanna get injured right??
