Spent a lovely sunny day working on the most gorgeous Siberian larch. Can you believe that this is only half baked T O A S T? There is more to do before it’s the real deal, but we couldn’t help but share a sneak preview with you. This freshly toasted batch is on tongue and grooved vertical boards and we can’t wait to see it up on its stunning contemporary new build. All our wood is being done by hand so we are up close and personal to every square inch of it. We think it rocks! What do you guys think?
Fruitoast version 1.0 banana toast🍌🍞
This is a grab n go kinda breakfast/brunch/snack/dessert(if you're counting your calories :p)!
One of my favourites! I love any toast served with fresh fruits! Banana is a super healthy, high potassium based fruit.
Best part is you can kinda play around with the ingredients and still produce a delicious toast! Super affordable and fun to eat!
PREP TIME + MAKING TIME: 5-7mins!
1 slice of toasted bread
1 tsp of butter/margarine/peanut butter/ nutella
2 tsp of honey/ golden syrup/ caramel sauce/ flaked almonds
A sprinkle of salt
There is absolutely no correct way of having a fruitoast! But this is my personal favourite way of munching this lush toast, you guys can give it a try!
1. Toast the bread until its brown, depending how crunchy/ soft you like it. I like it crunchy so i keep it about 3-4 mins in the toaster at point 3.
2. Cut the banana in thin slices or however you like it!
3. Peanut butter/ nutella tastes heavenly with bananas, but if you prefer butter thats good too! Lay the spread on the hot toast.
4. Layerthe sliced bananas on top of the buttered warm toast.
5. Drizzle with some golden syrup (my absolute fave!)/honey/ caramel sauce/ flaked almonds. Sprinkle some salt over it and vòila! Enjoy your warm toast with a cup of tea/milk/coffee ❤

If you’ve never been to Noble Eatery or had noble bread you’re seriously missing out. Freshest bakery in town and has awesome options for lunch if you’re stopping in to get a loaf. You’ll find a that a bunch of local restaurants source their bread from here and state “noble bread” on the menu if the dish is accompanied by it. I almost always order that dish. One complaint is I wish it was open on the weekends!!!
Goooood morning fellow fodmappers.😘✌ So I know that peanut butter and jam on toast is old news but even still, it is totally delish and one of my favourite breakfast combos that I thought was off the cards FOREVER. After wandering the shopping isles almost crying due to all my previously favourite foods being off limits (I'm sure you guys can relate!!) I came across some gluten free bread and decided I'd try and make do and recreate my once beloved breakfast with some natural peanut butter and squished up blueberries, and boy o' boy this was even better!! Ingredients are simple: gluten free bread, toasted, 1/2 a cup of blueberries (I use frozen and thawed), and a big dollop of natural peanut butter. Soooooo good! TIP: frozen berries are best because you can defrost them on the microwave and it makes them slightly jammy! Shout out to everyone else who is having a tough time adjusting to the Low FODMAP lifestyle, hang in there guys because it is totally worth it!!
