A kitchen doesn't need to be huge, it just needs to be systematic.
Kitchen is the most important space in the house. A kitchen should be planned & designed keeping in mind it's workability.
Good amount of storage should be provided so that nothing unnecessary lies on the counter.
Also, the storage units should be designed in such a way that it's reachable to the user.
Along with practicality, design factors such as colours, laminates etc play an important role.
Subtle colours gives a spacious look to the kitchen.
3D visualisation is an important aspect in interior designing.
3Ds give a clear idea of how the space will look.
It helps the client in visualising the space.
This is a 3d visualisation done for a client.
This was fun and challenging as the client wanted something out of the box yet simple. Nothing too flashy yet elegant at the same time.
We gave it a contemporary look by using subtle colours.
False ceiling is one of the most important elements of designing.
One can create wonders with the help of a good false ceiling design.
False ceiling generally helps in many aspects like for example;
It hides the electrical wires,
Helps getting different light effects,
Adds to aesthetics of the space etc.
Here, a simple rectangular false ceiling was designed for the client.
The centre portion of the ceiling has grooves on it for aesthetic purpose.
Niches were created in the ceiling to accommodate led strip lights which gives a dim light effect to the space.
This gives a really cosy feeling.
The design of the ceiling is in symmetry having equal number of lights and fans on either side.
Elements play an important role in the designing process.
Little elements help you make a good design.
Here, mirror was one of the elements used for the aesthetic purpose.
Placing the mirror alternately in the boxes gives an aesthetic as well as a spacious look to the room.
Accomodating major things in a single wall is a task.
Here, a TV unit is provided right in front of the bed along with a study table and a showcase on either side of the TV unit.
The book storage blends with the design.
Everyone has an exciting point in their life, where they start something. When they do something for the very first time.
'Start' is a very positive word as it defines a beginning.
This was my very first interior project.
Yes !!! This was the starting point of my business. A difficult start indeed.
I got an opportunity to design a residential space for a client.
I was a excited as it was my first time when I was going to handle a whole site right from designing to execution. But, my knowledge and confidence helped me throughout.
This project was not just an opportunity for me to design and execute the site but also build a bond of trust with the client.
Talking about the project, here, the client gave me a free hand on designing their house.
The house was pretty old and needed some good renovation.
Clients were clear with their requirements and asked me to design it keeping in mind their requirements. (Also I got a bit of a creative freedom)
Keeping their requirements in mind I came up with a plan that gave their home a cozy and elegant look with a bit of a touch of my creative here and there.
The living room needed some kind of design elements so we provided a panelled TV unit with some space for keeping the show pieces and other artifacts.
False ceiling was provided to hide the electrical wires and also to give an aesthetic look to the house.
The client wanted bright and dark colours (a contrats) in the living room, so the wallpaper used on the wall was a dark one put the painting and the wood work were bright colours Alos the false ceiling provided lighting in a such a way that it complemented both the dark and bright elements.
Last one from this office in Pune by Sama Design Studio. This frame wasn't planned beforehand, but got captured just as we were packing up for the day. Covering the entire material palette of the project, it has become quite a favourite since then.
