So often on this day, I hear things like, "youre such an inspiration!", or, "wow, I wish I was where you're at now!". While I SO appreciate the sentiment, here's my hot take:
You can be motivated by someone's experience. Inspired by another person's success. But until you're ready to dig in and do the hard work yourself, inspiration is meaningless.
We spend SO much energy looking outside ourselves for the source of inspiration and motivation that will urge us to make a change, when really, we should be spending most of that energy reflecting inward.
I spent *YEARS* following inspirational weight loss accounts. I constantly sought external motivation, in hopes that through some sort of osmosis I'd reap the benefits, and magically become the person I so wanted to be.
It wasn't until I saw this before photo that I finally realized that just being *inspired* to change wasn't going to be enough.
If you find inspiration in this image, I'm so truly and genuinely happy to have been that for you. But here's the thing - that inspiration only gets you so far.
What are you doing to get yourself to your goals?
What are the specific ways you are seeking to make positive changes in your life?
How are you going to get to that place you want to be?

So what’s the deal with fasting anyway? 🤷🏼♀️
Most days I fast around 12 hours between dinner and breakfast. Some people fast up to 16 hours, but you can choose what works best for you and still see benefits!
I always make sure to break my fast with a good amount of protein to keep blood sugar and hormones stable 👊🏻

When you eat foods that are high in sugar your body will release a hormone called insulin into the blood stream to lower blood sugars.
Insulin is released from the pancreas to process the glucose from carbohydrates in your bloodstream by transporting it around your body. -
The main issue with this process is that when high amounts of glucose or sugars are used as a primary energy source, fats are not needed for energy & therefore gets stored.
Most people’s diets today consist of large amounts of carbs & glucose is the primary fuel source.
This becomes a HUGE problem when the body can’t store a lot of sugars from carbs. This also can become a problem for somone who is insulin resistant because the extra glucose gets converted into fat which is then stored.
Because your body uses glucose to fuel the body that glucose that is converted into fat DOES NOT GET USED.
When your body runs out of glucose and your blood sugars fall, it tells your brain that you need more so you get hungry & typically grab something quick to eat like a snack full of sugars & processed carbs.
You can begin to see how this can become a vicious cycle that leads to being insulin resistant & having excess belly fat. So what’s the alternative? -

Сегодня на повестке дня очередные котлетки. На этот раз овощные с соей😎
Хотя чего только нет в их составе 😱
Приступаем к рецепту, мы берём:
⚡ капуста белокачанная - 400гр
⚡ морковь -1 шт
⚡ кабачок - 1шт
⚡ лук красный - 1 шт
⚡ жмых от сои или соя - 100гр
⚡ овсяные хлопья - 50 гр
⚡ картофель - 1 шт (остался от покупки для салата, не пропадать же добру 😁)
⚡ семена чиа, льна и кунжута по 1 ст.л вместо яйца
⚡ отруби - 2 ст.л
⚡ пищевые дрожжи - 4 ст.л. вместо сыра (необязательно)
⚡ укроп - 1 пучок
⚡ соль, перец, копчёная паприка, куркума по вкусу
⚡ кукурузная мука для обвалки (можно другую)
⚡ масло растительное для жарки
Капусту мелко нашинковать. Кабачок, морковь и картофель натереть на крупной тёрке. Лук и укроп мелко нарезать. Семена измельчаем в кофемолке и заливаем водой в 2 раза больше по объему, оставляем на 10 минут. Смешиваем все ингредиенты. Смесь должна настояться 15-20 минут. Затем формируем котлеты, обваливаем в муке и жарим на сковороде по 2-3 минуты с каждой стороны до готовности.
Котлеты получаются очень сочными😋

🍨🍬 Sugar and Carb Addictions 🍰🍭
I see people talk all the time about their sugar addictions, how it almost consumes them and they're constantly trying to fight it off. The advice is always something along the lines of "just don't eat it" or using your will power.
🚫 The problem here is that you are just going to constantly be fighting these cravings and addictions and it'll be a constantly battle.
✔ What we should do is address the 👉🏼 ROOT cause of these addictions.
➡️ Sugar addictions are either 1 of a combo of 3 things:
🍪 Gut microbe imbalance and pathogens causing sugar addictions because they thrive on glucose and need it to survive
🍩 Blood sugar instability to quickly raise low blood sugar levels (which ends up in a vicious cycle of blood sugar spikes and dips)
🍦 Leptin insensitivity because carbs spike leptin
⚠️ When we address these factors and nip them in the bud, the addictions resolve and the cravings disappear.
THIS is how whole body nutrition and body system rebalancing works and why my results are permanent and sustainable.
🌱 When you cut the stem of a weed, it keeps growing back and you're forced to keep cutting it to keep it in check. When you pull the root out, you never have to fight the weed again. Same thing here 💣💥
