Today’s dinner. So delicious. One of my favorite keto meals. Cheese shell tacos filled with veggie crumbles, home made guacamole, sour cream, tomato, and shredded spring mix. This whole meal was 8 carbs.
I didn’t post anything yesterday—it was leftovers so whatever 😆. I did wake up extra hungry today, and this salad with blue cheese dressing (w extra blue cheese!) and oven roasted sausage tasted sooo good. Dinner was oven bbq pork belly (I ended up eating two pieces) and broccoli and cauliflower with butter topped with Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel seasoning.
I’m headed to Vegas tomorrow morning and have packed a carry-on filled with a bag of chicharrones, a bag of shorty sausages, some Atkins bars and a container of seaweed snacks for the room haha. I’ve also packed some workout clothes 😱. Hoping to jumpstart my workouts while there. I did a little yoga today and it felt amazing. I’ve been putting off exercising because I just haven’t really had the energy, but I kind of think it’s time :) 🏃🏻♀️ .

Tonight we celebrated our anniversary and had dinner at @fogo.
It was my first time & it was so delicious. We will definitely have to go again. 😍 #intermittentfasting
for 19 hours then had 4 pieces of salami with cream cheese when waited until dinner. First had the salad bar 🥗 with arugula and basil dressing topped with smoked salmon, capers, sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella with basil. The meats I had were lamb, steak, & pork. Everything I had was amazing. They gave us a complimentary dessert so we indulged in molten chocolate cake with ice cream. I also had a red glass of wine with dinner 🍷🤤

I was concerned about increasing my protein intake due to the Gluconeogenic amino acids and my concern for being kicked out of #ketosis
. Well if you are fat adapted that doesn't happen with increased protein intake. The Glucagon:Insulin ratio DOES NOT CHANGE. ATM I have 0 cravings and have have been reading a lot about people doing a #carnivore #diet
. "Lazy" dinners like this are making me want to give it a try. #forscience

Smoothie and fruit Salad after a cleanse day yesterday. I had the best nights sleep yesterday, not even Tinka’s 😽 snoring could wake me up 😋😛❤️
A very spicy “beef” fajita bowl. I was so busy processing and juicing all those apples and other veg that I forgot to eat dinner! That’s a first. Damn this is so spicy. I used two of those Sol patties (finally used them up) and sautéed with hot sauce and fajita seasoning in water until the water evaporated, then added a portion of rice until warmed through. Threw that over a bowl of lettuce, tomato, green onion, and 1/4 avocado with lots of pepper and lemon juice. Clocking in at 500 calories, it’s a very substantial, moderately-low fat meal. I’ll be awake for a few hours yet, so I’m not too worried about eating a tad later than usual. #vegan #plantbased #wholefoods #nooil #intermittentfasting #recipeideas #easymeals #tasty

This is ONE of ours my gluten + dairy free waffles 🤗 I like mine with 1 Tbsp super low GI yacon syrup cut with 11/2 Tbsps fresh lemon juice, my homemade coconut Greek style yoghurt 🥥 (hellloooo happy gut buddies & healthy fat to help balance blood sugar), 1/4 Cup berries plus a fresh organic almond milk + MCT oil latte (more healthy fats & medium chain triglycerides for brain ON + extra fat slows caffeine so as not to hit my adrenals so hard!) + water with lemon. ☕️ Of course this isn’t AS healthy as my #css
(I will be having that later today as we will be on the go!) Also, it’s not as good for balanced blood sugar as eggs, spinach/ greens, sauerkraut and avo would be - BUT it’s an upgrade of what’s out there and once every couple of weeks in my Sunday I thoroughly enjoy it!! Let's look at nature & start with the lowest hanging fruit. These are available to everyone & doesn't cost you a thing
1. Spend 15-20 mins every morning watching the sunrise whilst grounding yourself. Do nothing else, just be. Reset your circadian rhythms & avoid #junklight
2. Practice some form of time restricted eating. Throughout human evolution we didn't have unlimited access to food. Eat in a shorten timeframe each day - whether it's 12, 9, 7, or 4 hour window, it doesn't matter. Cave man didn't have breakfast, lunch & dinner
3. Use cold thermogenesis daily. Have cold showers in the morning &/or evening. Sleep in a cool room (ideally around 16-18°C)
