Are you keeping track of your eating habits? There are many different ways to keep track of what you eat. If you’re not using an app, then simply write down the times you eat, the foods you eat, portion sizes (more or less), and make notes about what you were doing or feeling at the time. ---- At the end of the day, review your food list (Food Diary) and yourself: • Did I eat wholefood meals? • Did I have fibre rich filling foods (including water) with every meal or every snack? • Did I eat at least 4-5 servings each of fruits and veggies? • Did I hit my calorie intake? • What was my split of macros: Protein, Carbs, Fats • Is my nutrition supporting my training? ---- #transformationtuesday

In a 2011 study (which you can find in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition), scientists evaluated the association between unprocessed and processed red meat consumption and the incidence of Type II Diabetes. 37,083 men were followed between 1986-2006, 79,570 women between 1980-2008 and 87,504 women between 1991-2005. After taking into consideration age, Body Mass Index as well as other dietary and lifestyle risk factors, it was determined that red meat intake was positively associated with Type II Diabetes in every cohort (especially processed meats). Back home in Singas after eating our way around Canggu & Seminyak 🐷 first meal back had to be BBQed salmon & a big old salad 🙌 this mix is baby leaves, cucumber, baby toms, orange capsicum, cumin roasted pumpkin, avo, feta and a little “granola” mix 🥒🍅🥑 I got the granola idea from an amazing salad we had at one of our fave cafes in Seminyak - Sisterfields, which had a little sweet but savory granola through it. So tonight I threw some pepitas, sunflower seeds & almonds on a baking tray, & mixed through a little coconut oil, a drizzle of honey & a pinch of salt - roasted it for about 10-15 mins. Definitely my new fave addition to a salad 👌 dressed with a mix of Dijon mustard, olive oil, S&P and lemon juice 👏

🍗 Coxa de frango com manteiga de amendoim ________ ( Receita simplificada e adaptada do livro @iquitsugar Thanks @evelinepezzini ) ________________________________ 👉🏼 Ingredientes ⠀⠀ 🍗 8 coxas de frango 🥥 2 colheres de óleo de côco 🥄 3 colheres de manteiga de amendoim ✌🏼 2 dentes de alho amassados 🥜 1/2 xícara de amendoim sem sal 🌱 Um punhado de vagem (ou ervilha torta ou aspargos) cozido no vapor 🍶 Azeite para untar 👌🏼Sal marinho ________________________________ 👩🏻‍🍳 Pré-aqueça o forno a 200°. Antes de assar o frango, jogue água fervente e deixe-o num recipiente por uns 2 minutos pra tirar o “ranso” e dar uma pré-cozida! Depois escorra a água totalmente e tempere com sal. ________________________________ 🥣 Em um bowl, misture o óleo de côco com o alho e a manteiga de amendoim. 🍗 Passe as coxas de frango nessa mistura e disponha-as numa forma untada com azeite.🙌🏼 Cubra com papel alumínio (lado fosco para fora) e leve ao forno já pré-aquecido por 30min a 180°. ________________________________ 👋🏽 Retire o papel alumínio e distribua na fôrma a vagem (ou o legume escolhido) e o amendoim e volte ao forno por cerca de mais 15 min!🍴

Greek fisherman’s stew- a super easy sugar free low calorie dinner option (and of course I made enough for leftovers)! Simmer one onion and two garlic cloves in two cups vegetable stock. Add can of tomato mix and cherry tomatoes. Let sit for 10 mins then add @colessupermarkets seafood mix (contains prawns, salmon, white fish and calamari). Add large pinch of feta, the ribbons of one zucchini and allow to cook. It’s a great game! 🐝 What I had to work with sounds mis-matched, but tasted oh-so-good and FULL of nutrients! 🐝 1 garlic clove 1/4 red onion 1/2 a tomato 1 large bunch asparagus 2 small bunches broccolini 1/2 a zucchini 1/4 white cabbage 1 large tin tuna in spring water Tamari Chilli flakes Nutritional yeast flakes Basically, grab a big saucepan, and add in the order of longest to quickest to cook... 🐝 Served here with quinoa, leftover frittata, and leftover nutty kale pesto. Had this beautiful and DELICIOUS vegan crab cake sandwich with tartar sauce and sweet potato fries and some homemade hot cider for lunch! The burger didn't even taste vegan holy crap it was literally crab like I don't believe that it's vegan!! This was from Busboys and Poets--I give the restaurant a 12/10 PERFFF •i had such a beautiful and fun day with my friends. I'm the happiest I've been in a while. Sorry I’ve been MIA! A combination of not feeling well and laziness this weekend. However I did stay on track with eating(not workouts) I was particularly proud of staying on track since again usually when I don’t feel well, I use it as an excuse to eat what I want. today's post is in English because I want to express my gratitude to @adrienelouise 💐 Today is day 30 of my personal Yoga🙆🙅 challenge following Adriene's 2015 videos💝. Of course it was my New Year's resolution but it took some time to get started. I realized that practicing in the evening is not an option for me . I was used to a 10 - 15 min practice in the morning, but recently there never was enough time. ⭐ So one day in January ❄ I decided to get up earlier and was not quite sure if I would keep up. But yesssss, I did. Actually after waking up I have been looking forward to meet Adriene every morning.✨ I enjoyed every single practice and getting up was always easy. Although I started with yoga about 8 years ago I learned a lot in these 30 days about me and my body. At the same time I became more serious in not eating sugar and for the last ten days I have not (consciously) eaten any white sugar at all. 🍎 I gained so much, I feel full of energy, power, strength and easyness in a physical way and deep inside💫. Of course today is not the end. I will keep going.
