🔢 SERIES ~ Stories of the prophets in islam.
💠The story of Shu'aib a.s 💠
Shuaib's Message☝️ Allah the Almighty revealed the story of Shu'aib (pbuh): "To the people of Madyan (Madian) (We sent) their brother Shu'aib. 🔺He said: "O my people!
Worship Allah, you have no other Ilah (God) but Him. Verily! a clear proof (sign) from your
Lord has come unto you; so give full measure 📏 and full weight 🌡️and wrong not men in their things,
and do not mischief on the earth after it has been set in order that will be better for you, if you
are believers. And sit not on every road, threatening, and hindering from the Path of Allah those
who believe in Him, and seeking to make it crooked. Remember when you were but few, and He
multiplied you 👨👩👧👧. See what was the end of the Mufsideen (mischief makers, corrupts and liars). And
if there is a party of you who believes in that which I have been sent and a party who do not
believe, so be patient until Allah judges between us, and He is the Best of judges." 🔻 The chiefs of those who were arrogant among his people said: "We shall certainly drive you out,
O Shu'aib! and those who have believed with you from our town, or else you all shall return to
our religion." 🔺 He said: "Even though we hate it! We should have invented a lie against Allah if we returned to
your religion, after Allah has rescued us from it. It is not for us to return to it unless Allah, our
Lord, should will. Our Lord comprehends all things in His Knowledge. In Allah (Alone) we put
our trust ☝️. Our Lord! Judge between us and our people in truth, for You are the Best of those Who
gives judgment." 🔻The chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people said to their people: "If you follow Shu'aib
be sure then you will be the losers!" 🔺Then he (shu'aib) turned from them and said: "O my people! I have indeed conveyed my Lord's
Messages unto you and I have given you good advice. Then how can I sorrow for the
disbelieving people's (destruction)." (Ch 7:85-93 Quran)
(And if you were to count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them) (Quran 16:18)

🔢 SERIES ~ Stories of the prophets... Ibrahim (AS) had two children; One Ismail and other Ishaaq. Ismail (AS) from Hajar and Ishaaq (AS) from Sarah. There is a gap between Ismail and Ishaaq of 10 to 15 years. Ismail was older than Ishaaq. Ismail was in Makkah and Ishaaq was with his father in Palestine. Ishaaq (AS) had a son named Yaqub. Yaqub (AS)’s other name was Israel. One person, two names: Israel and Yaqub. He had twelve children. His children and grandchildren and so forth are referred to as ‘Bani Israel.’ Yaqub (AS) was a Prophet and his son Yusuf (AS) was also a Prophet. Majority of the Prophets came from the lineage of Ishaaq (AS) like Musa, Isa, Harun, Dawud, Suleiman, etc. All these came from Bani Israel except Muhammadﷺ, he came from Bani Ismail.
Yaqub (AS) had twelve sons. The name of the eldest one was ‘Yahuda.’ Today, people speaking urdu must be aware that ‘Yahudi’ is a term used for Jews. The root of the word comes from the same name ‘Yahuda’ which clarifies that Yahudi is just a name and it is not a religion. Yaqub (AS) and his children were Muslims. The name ‘Yahudi’ or ‘Bani Israel’ are just the names and titles given to them.
When Rasool Allahﷺ came to Madinah, one of the main reasons the Jews didn’t accept him was because he was not from ‘Bani Israel’ instead he was from ‘Bani Ismail.’ They knew the Messenger of Allahﷺ better than their own sons because his qualities were clearly mentioned in the book sent by Allah to them through Musa (AS) which was ‘Torah' and yet they refused to believe in him based on this difference of race.
Jews settled in Madinah because they knew ‘The Last Prophet’ will emerge soon as it was mentioned in their books but they expected him to come from Bani Israel not Bani Ismail. They knew Allah’s Messengerﷺ better than their own sons but they rejected him because he was not from their lineage. Makkans looked up to them as knowledgeable and elite class of the society and hence, since Makkans were ignorant people they followed Jews in rejecting him too.
The Jews will welcome Dajjal when he arrives. And this is because they will believe that he is the ‘Last Prophet’, they have been waiting for all these years.
