“Remember me and I will Remember you “⠀
To me this is such an encouraging and beautiful verse of the Quran. I know when starting a regular a practice of dhikr we don’t always feel the results right away. This can be discouraging or even lead us to stop. When I feel those moments I like to remember this verse. Not a single remembrance is uttered without Allah swt exchanging similar sentiments to us. ⠀
While remembering the more literal version of this verse and continuing and deepening our practice we learn a new level of meaning of this ayah. ⠀
We learn that in remembering Allah swt in all things big or small, dhikr becomes less about saying specific words or moving beads on a tesbih. Dhikr becomes a way a life. It becomes a heart at ease, and a life lived with barakat in every action. ⠀
No words exist to describe the scope of this grace, to be able to see Allah swt in every thing and truly recognize there is no power in this world but that of Him.
Just some hump day greetings from this handsome fellow 🐶⠀
He always puts up with my shenanigans when it’s my turn to puppy sit.⠀
We’re always so sad when he leaves, I have been trying to convince my husband to let us get a pet. What should we get? ⠀
You know what's the biggest mistake we make in life? The biggest mistake is we think we have time. Time is free but its priceless. You can't own it but you use it. You can't keep it but you spend it and once it's lost you never get it back.
So there is a good news and a bad news the bad news is time flies and the good news is you are the pilot. Time is so much powerful then money because you always get more money but can't get more time. To realize the value of 1 year ask the students how fail the grades. To realize the value of 1 month ask the student who had exam in the next month. To realize the value of 1 week ask the editor of online magazine. To realize the value of 1 mint ask who just missed a bus, train or plan. To realize the value of 1 sec ask the person who just missed an accident.
The Holy Prophet SAW divided His Time in portions at home.
1. Time for devotion to Allah SWT
2. Time for family needs.
3. Time for personal need (divided in 2 parts)
2. for others
Some of us lose the the people most important to us because we don't recognized how someone is important to us until they are gone. Inside of us there is 2 voices. 1 voice that want to uplift, 1 voice that want us to expand, 1 voice that want us to grow and then there is other voices. The voice that hold us back, the voice that make us lazy, the voice that make us complacent, the voice that restricts us from our potential.
