As many of you know, at a very young 22 years of age, I decided to open up my own fitness studio with a dream, a prayer and support from friends and family. I held odd jobs to stay afloat, I missed out on family events and trips, I wore the same leggings with holes in them for years, but I was HAPPY. I changed people's lives on a daily basis and I was able to stick to do what I believed in, which was exercise and good nutrition. Living life in BALANCE, no quick fix or sales pitch. My "kids" looked up to me. Clients trusted in what I told them and I always stayed TRUE. In May of 2016, I did the absolute hardest thing I have ever had to do, closing the doors to my studio after 5 years, hundreds of lives saved, and thousands of pounds lost. And since those doors closed, some part of ME had been lost.
Going on a little over two years now since closing, I've gone from being the Exercise Physiologist in an extremely high end Urology office in Manhattan, to moving to Bluffton, South Carolina to open up one of the most successful Burn Boot Camp locations in the history of the franchise, to owning a restaurant in Beaufort and training on the side, and today....TODAY I finally feel like I have found myself again. I am able to practice what I preach, spread my love for health and fitness on MY terms, and change lives every single day, without my OWN life suffering. I am SO PROUD to wear this L.E.A.R.N. hoodie today and continue to carry out my dreams. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey, the ups and downs, the North and South, the better and the worse. "It's not about the destination. It's about the journey"
