Tried out a bunch of new recipes tonight. Homemade ponzu sauce, seared ahi tuna, Thai cucumber salad, and Hawaiian coleslaw.
I struggle to enjoy seafood, so I was really hoping to like this preparation. And while the texture was surprisingly pleasant and the aftertaste wasn’t bad, I still didn’t like the fishy flavor (even though it was subtle). Fortunately, my husband enjoyed it enough to finish his portion, so I don’t feel so bad. The coleslaw was really intense and the cucumbers were very tangy. But everything looked quite pretty, even if I didn’t enjoy it that much. .
