💢Jaw 🦈 tension and TMJ issue HELP
Tightness through the temperomandibular joint (TMJ) / has joint is really common - especially if you are #stressedout
😫 A lot of us tend to clench the jaw in response to psychological stress and the muscles that do it, the temporalis and massetter can get tight over time and contribute to a whole host of jaw issues .
This exercise can really help to reduce some of that muscle tension when combined with some nice deep breaths 🧘♀️🧘♂️
If you have had trauma to the jaw 🥊 🏒 then you might also notice that you get a “click”. The clock alone is likely nothing to worry about but if it occurs with jaw pain or tightness and doesn’t resolve with some regular (daily) self massage, you might want to consult an expert .
If you get headaches around the jaw or the eyes this is a must ✅ .
