Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
Mediocre at best, but still a good holiday companion.
Isla Nublar is on fire! a dormant volcano is active on the island, and it's been 4 years since the park closed down. Along with the volcano's activity, the dinosaurs are left there and ready to be extinct, again. Owen and Claire on the other hand are given a task to illegally save the dinosaurs for one more time (again) and only to figure out that there is a huge conspiracy happening around them.
J.A Bayona is back again, helming the project which was not that bad, but not that good either. Like i said, this film is mediocre at best. Because it's so formulaic that it basically can't presents what it's predecessor don't have.
I don't wanna be a hypocrite, i do enjoyed the jumpscares, i do enjoyed the flawless CGI, and hell yeah i enjoyed the idea of dinasours in real life, but yet I'm still craving for the unforgettable experience from this film, which this film failed to deliver. It's like a smoke that could disappear at any time.
The thrilling actions are still there, i can guarantee you that. But if you're looking for a mindblowing story, you should probably choose other options 🙊
