Yesterday evening I took a drive down to Trebarwith Strand in Cornwall with @carlpavitt.
I had meant to go out for the whole day but due to a lack of motivation, not feeling too well and hay fever, I ended up staying in for most of the day. When Carl messaged me saying he was driving down for sunset I got my camera kit together and off we went.
The beach was still fairly busy when we arrived but we had an hour or so before sunset to explore and find compositions. I found this little group of rocks and used them to frame the gorgeous beach with Gull Rock in the distance. The tide was out so we couldn't get that classic shot that everyone goes for so we improvised a little bit and in the end, that rewarded us with a couple of different views from the norm.
To say we'd made the right decision to head out is an understatement, the sunset last night was one of the most epic ones I've ever witnessed, after the sun actually set the sky lit up for nearly an hour an a half, it was on fire!! I have a couple of shots from last night and will probably post the main event shot tomorrow, Some of you who are on my friends list will have seen a preview of it already, but until then I leave you with this shot of the beach. #sea #landscape #landscape_lovers #landscape_captures #landscapephotography #canon #canonphotography #canonphotographer #mycanon #eos80d #jessopsmoment #mytelegraph #ukpotd #ukcoast #trebarwithstrand #visitcornwall #beach #beaches #sunset
