Chandler Hutchison the steal of the draft? @cmohutchison
▪️Hutch played all 4 years in college. He struggled his first 3 years but improved a TON his senior year which shows his work ethic. He’s a 6’7” SF who could start for us Day 1
▪️On offense, Hutch is a great playmaker. By this I mean he can create with ball in his hands and proved in his senior season he can take the big shot when needed. He’s a strong player on and off the ball and excels at getting to the rim. Also he’s very athletic and is effective when slashing
▪️On defense, Hutch is a versatile player who can guard multiple positions. He’s an improving perimeter defender who had 1.5 steals per game. An underrated part of his game is his rebounding. He’s very aggressive in the paint as he grabbed almost 8 boards a game.
▪️He needs to improve his jump shooting efficiency. His mid range game can improve with NBA coaching. Also turnovers have been a problem for him. And he’s a 69% career free throw shooter.
▪️Excited to watch him play as I feel he’s gonna fit into our lineup nicely. We need an athletic wing and that’s exactly what he’s gonna bring us. Next Kyle Kuzma?
We need to keep Lavine. I still believe he can be a 20+ ppg scorer. One of the hardest workers in the league. If we can keep him at a reasonable contract then we gotta do it.
Wendell Carter Jr. is a perfect fit for our team
▪️WCJ is only 19 years old and was great at Duke. He was surrounded by stars at Duke like Marvin Bagley who he had to share the workload with, Grayson Allen, Trevon Duval, Gary Trent Jr. and so on. Even with all these college stars he was able to put up impressive numbers.
▪️On offensive WCJ is a fundamentally sound big man. He is really comfortable close to the basket. This compliments Lauri perfectly as he can stretch the floor while Carter dominates inside. But on top of this Carter can also shoot 3’s well! Even though he only attempted 40-50 3s in the season, he shot 41% from 3 which shows he can stretch the floor as well if needed. Also he’s 260 lbs so he gives the Bulls strength down low.
▪️On defense is where Carter shines specifically inside. Lauris only weakness is defense and Carter will cover this up. He averaged 2 blocks a game with his 7’5” wingspan and 9’1” standing reach. He’s highly coordinated and has great instincts. Also he’s a powerful presence down low which makes him a aggressive scary rebounder on both sides of the floor.
▪️Some things he needs to get better at is explosiveness and perimeter defense/mobility. Doesn’t have elite athleticism and needs to improve leaping ability. Other than that WCJ is very well-rounded and is a great addition to our team. Really excited to watch him play. Next Al Horford?
How would you grade our 2018 draft as a whole? ;
I give us a solid grade of an A. There’s no players we could’ve picked that were available that really could have propelled us more than the guys we chose with the picks. (Swipe to see highlights of each player)
Pau with the no look to Drose 🔥🔥
Exactly 1 year ago, Jimmy Butler was traded from the Chicago Bulls for Zach Lavine, Lauri Markannen, and Kris Dunn.
Frontcourt of the future LETS GET IT
▪️Lauri- Dirk playstyle and more athletic. Gonna be a deadly scorer.
▪️WCJ- Next Al Horford? Amazing defender one of the best last year in the NCAA. Can also hit the 3 as he was 41% from 3😳. Also great interior scorer.
▪️They compliment each other perfect... watch out East

Crazy if you think about it. Did the Bulls do them dirty🤔
Grade the draft based on what we did and what we didn’t do.
Congrats to all the players drafted last night! Looking forward to watching them throughout the year. Who do you think won the draft? Biggest steal? Comment below!
A huge dream of mine is to train a draftee one day☝🏽#SwingmanBasketball #NBADraft
Timberwolves second-round pick @keitabd
in the Twolves threads 🔥. ;
Probably one of the biggest steals in the draft, our 48th draft pick was on many mock drafts to go in the early-mid 20s in the first round. He’s a great cutter along with just an all around good off-ball guy who isn’t exactly a knockdown shooter, but excels in catch-and-shoot situation at times. Has great defensive potential to wrap it all up with a 7’3 wingspan. Great pick, Thibs.
looking 🔥 in the Timberwolves jersey!
Today marks the The end of two era’s in Chi-Town in 2 separate years.
Derrick Rose was traded to the New York Knicks for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon.
Jimmy Butler was traded to the Timberwolves for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and the No. 7 pick in the draft. (Fuck Garpax headass)
Now they’ve been reunited in Minnesota with a Bright future ahead of them! 🙌🐺
