// Yati Plays Tourist // It’s been a long while since I’ve played tourist in KL. This time, it was the siren call of gourmet popcorn that led me here.
I’ve always thought of Pasar Seni as a tourist attraction, and with the traditional layang-layang kites and uncharacteristically clean-looking food stalls outside, it wasn’t a wrong assumption.
But as I traipsed along following my friend from stalls selling sea cucumber soap to second hand books to really old stuff to a whole bunch of plastic stalls to the popcorn stall with their many samples, I realised there’s a lot to see.
There was a fish spa, and for my wonderful pal’s amusement and entertainment - and ok, to sate my curiosity - I submerged my legs in a pool of hungry fishes who feasted on the dead skin on the soles of my feet. Suffice it to say, I am extremely ticklish - possibly to the bemusement of all who were witness to my fits of giggles.
, for layaning my popcorn (& sushi & macdonalds & A&W & prata & nasi ayam) whims and taking me everywhere! 😘😘😘
