Zach LaVine underwent MRI on his left ankle and is listed as "doubtful" for tonight's game against San Antonio. He's scheduled for a few more tests today but it still seems unlikely he'll play as he can walk just fine but with a limp.
“I heard something pop,” he said. “I think it was just some fluid or something.”
The Memphis Grizzlies lose to The Miami Heat (97-100). Joakim finished the game with 5 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 13 minutes.
In an appearance on the 'Chris Vernon Show', Joakim reflected upon his time in NYC. "I can look back at it and say I was ready for New York City, but I wasn't," Noah said. "Not just the pressure. I remember after the first game I had 60 people in my house. I'm too lit to play in New York City. Memphis is perfect for me."
Joakim goes on to express that there came a time where he needed to make a decision.
"When I got kicked off the team, it was New York Fashion Week and I was getting paid a lot of money and I had no direction," Noah added. "And so I really had to make a decision of how I wanted to live my life because if I kept going in the direction I was going and staying in New York I probably wouldn't be here right now."
I'm glad he's not on The Knicks anymore, they didn't treat him nicely at all and the fact that he's happy in Memphis, makes me happy too! Thoughts?
The Chicago Bulls LOSE to The Orlando Magic (91-97). Zach finished with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists in 40 minutes.
Some more light Noah's comment. Everybody ain't built for NYC.
Frank Ntilikina, Kristaps Porzingis & other young Knicks were told not to hang around Joakim Noah prior to his October release from the team due to his addiction to partying, per Stefan Bondy of the NY Daily News.
“I can look back at it and say I was ready for New York City, but I wasn’t. Not just the pressure. I remember after the first game I had 60 people in my house. I’m too lit to play in New York City. Memphis is perfect for me.” I’m too lit to play in New York City. Memphis is perfect for me.” - Joakim Noah earlier on the Chris Vernon show.
The Memphis Grizzlies DEFEAT The Portland Trailblazers (92-83). Joakim finished the game with 4 points and 2 rebounds! Great win!

The Memphis Grizzlies lose against The Denver Nuggets (99-105). Joakim finishes the game with 4 points and 4 rebounds. I watch the games and see that they don't pass to him too much. Especially when they run pick and roll which is one of Noah's specialties, he doesn't get the ball from anyone, I think The Grizzlies would benefit if they took advantage of those situations but good game all around.
The Chicago Bulls lose to The (censored) Sacramento Kings. . . (89-108). Zach finishes the game with 19 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
The Bulls take on the Kings for their 28th game of the season in Chicago tonight. Following an extremely rough loss, we now have Dunn and Portis back so it should be an entertaining game...hopefully
(2017) Joakim Noah cuts and throws it ⬇️ on Giannis Antetokounmpo!
It's been reported that some Bulls players did not attend practice yesterday. players were seemingly embarrassed by the fact that Jim Boylen, who only took the team over on Monday, substituted his entire five-man starting lineup twice in The Boston Celtics blowout win. When asked about it afterward, Boylen mentioned the team’s poor effort as the reason why.
Apparently, the team had talked in a group chat and debated whether they should show up to practice or not but they all did show, not practicing together but watching film and working individually. Team problems with a game against Sacramento tonight? Great.
In the 90’s, the Chicago Bulls was one of the best teams out there. Michael Jordan inspired the players we have today like LeBron James. I wish we could clone the players from the 90’s a put them on the team in 2018. The Bulls have been pretty bad for the past 10 years. They had young players like Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah that they played into the ground. They ran away Jimmy Butler to Minnesota Timberwolves. Their previous coach Fred Hoiberg was not all that great. In March 2017, ESPN ranked Hoiberg as the worst head coach in the league. 🤦 He was recently fired and now they have Jim Boylen. Now Jim started on December 3 and he has been running back-to-back 2½-hour practices plus a 90-minute shoot around, has implemented ‘‘suicides’’ in practice because of what he deemed poor conditioning. Saturday the Bulls played the Celtics and got NUKED in a 56 point blowout loss of 133 to 77. Jim then subbed out his entire starting lineup because of the embarrassing play. So, we now have a coach that is demeaning players as punishment. As far as I'm concerned, the Bulls' entire front office and coaching staff needs to be wiped out. Until this is done I very much doubt that any player would be willing to come and play for a team like this. 😭😭 #Basketball
NOTE: Dunn, LaVine and Markkanen all remain on the third team simply because they havent played more than a full season. If we keep them long term, expect LaVine to climb up to the second team as well as Markkanen and potentially Dunn as well.
These are my thoughts on the all 21st century era team for Chicago. Anyone I'm missing?
Heart. Passion. Determination. Joakim Noah.
Guys. . . I am so happy right now. Joakim saw my comment on my other account and he replied to me as well. My gosh, I didn't expect him to see it at all but he did and I'm so happy he noticed me! I highly urge you guys to follow my other account, @JoakimLegacy
because I'm a huge fan of him and DRose and they are my two favourite players of all time. 🙏❤️
