let’s talk about NUTRIENTS.
it seems everyone is concerned with getting enough/the right nutrients these days, but did you know that most people’s bodies aren’t capable of absorbing nutrients fully (if at all) due to obstructions in the intestinal walls and acidic damage to the digestive system as a whole? IF you are concerned with getting enough nutrients, you gotta do the work to allow your body absorption. what does this mean? clearing built up mucus and fecal matter through consumption of easily digested foods (fruit) and even easier - juices! the average american carries 5-20 POUNDS of built up fecal matter in their intestines because things just aren’t moving! POOPING IS COOL! eliminate foods that don’t digest easily or at all. meat, dairy, eggs, grains, too much overt fat, and whatever else you find slows things down for you! for me, fruit digests perfectly and makes me feel my best. this isn’t about ADDING more foods, rather REMOVING ones that cause digestive distress and REPLACING with foods that get ya movin! certain herbs can also be extremely helpful for clearing out obstructions as well as fasting! this could mean intermittent fasting, water fasting, juice fasting, etc. they all allow your body a break from digestion and allow it to clear things up and work on healing other areas of the body that may need attention.

Needed a lil body reset, went to bed feeling uncomfortably full + queasy too many times last week. Decided to try a cleanse on a whim with my coworker. Delicious juices (especially the vanilla, chocolate, and citrus ones), super sweet and definitely craved savory food, waters were weird not a fan, accidentally chugged the chocolate one at the end of the day and felt queasy. .
✅ not nearly as hard as I thought it would be, would do it again if I feel like I need a reset...

It's all about the 'Green Genie' 💚💚💚 It will grant you three wishes...🍏🍏🍏 I've tweaked my original recipe slightly with the addition of some juicy apples but the 3 main components are celery, cucumber and fresh ginger. I find that this juice is really calming (green is the 'calm' colour, right?). It settles the body and hydrates the brain! It's a great tonic for the skin too - if you have flare-ups during certain times of the month, this juice will get to work at boosting the immune system, feeding friendly gut bacteria and it will help to cleanse the colon thus aiding with efficient elimination of hormones that can build-up (which are released back into the bloodstream causing hormonal imbalances). I added a sprig of fresh basil (because I love it) and a twist of fresh lime juice just to finish it off. I'll be putting together my 7 favourite juice recipes soon 'JuiceMe' to go with my 'SmoothieMe' blends. Keep you eyes peeled for info :))) .
