So this was the magical end result of the gluten-free, rice flour dumplings I made the other day 🥟🤸♀️🤤 the filling was: leeks, Brussels sprouts, crumbled tofu, ginger & kale ✨ the left half were shallow fried in a pan and the ones in the right were steamed. It was such a delightful process of creation. So much love and good energy went into it, making me so happy to be in the kitchen and in creative flow again. I’m thinking to do a recipe video for these beauties 🎥 •
In other news, I had some realizations today. One of the most profound being: that sometimes just being is the most important work we need to do. Enough with human doings, embody your human being-ness. Try to just sit. For 15 minutes, for half an hour, whatever you feel like today but just sit. Don’t do anything. Just BE. Just observe the mind. With no judgment or criticism, just an openness and a willingness to allow your very nature that is so rooted in BEING to come to the forefront. Let go of the to-do list in your mind. Just sit with yourself without the distraction of mental fluff. See how much love there is in that space when it is free of mental resistance to that ego-less space. ❤️ so often we get so caught up in or minds and our lists and our doings that we forget that first and foremost we are living, breathing, loving beings. We are not robots. We are not checks next to our list of things to do or things we think we need in order to feel good about ourselves or to feel alive. We are not what we say or do, or eat or don’t eat, or think. I just made this deliciousness-- soooooo good 🤤🤤🤤 Ingredients
Makes 20 small bars
* 2.5 cups Perfect Fit Quinoa Crisps
* 1/2 cup natural chunky peanut butter
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
* 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Directions: Add quinoa crisps and salt to a large mixing bowl. Pour in the honey and peanut butter, then stir until fully incorporated. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour mixture on top. Flatten into a large square with a spatula, then place into the refrigerator. Place the dark chocolate into a microwave safe bowl and warm up in intervals. Once softened, remove bar mixture from the refrigerator and drizzle the chocolate on top. Place in the freezer for 30-40 minutes, allowing it to set. Once ready to consume, cut into squares. Keep in the refrigerator.
Ends up looking like a science experiment lol. Ive been asked a few times how much is left and how well it takes out the juice from the veggies and fruit. I get about 2 full bowls of mostly dry pulp.
All of that made a full pot of juice. 4 large containers. Less than 20 dollars worth of veggies and fruit. Smallest containers are 16oz.
Would have cost less too if we didnt get the pre cut fruit container.

Since I'm back flying to the other side of the world every few weeks and it's been a little juggling act over the last month with the silly season, a small human, a partner and still running my coaching. I could just tell my body needed me to tune in and show it some extra self are. You know a bit of "hey I appreciate you" so I started with charcoal smoothies and whole foods for a couple of days. Then have lead into a few days of juicing. I forgot how much my system needs warmth so listening to my body I've added in broths. Any way it's been real. It's making me understand my body's needs even more and take on a whole new appreciation for how important it is to choose to nourish your body correctly and with lots of love. Also water- ohh how important water is. That's a whole other post though. Always make sure that when doing something different with your body your doing it out of kindness for it.
