Meet E! E is the oldest of our two kiddos. She loves school, loves to read and loves all animals. Unfortunately she is allergic to most of them, so she has an extensive stuffed animal collection. 🐺 🐻 🦌 If you are around E for any length of time you will understand very quickly that she loves to sing. She is ALWAYS singing. We always joke we will never have to worry about seeing a bear on the trail, because she will keep us safe with all of her beautiful “noise.” 🎶 Her favorite National Park so far is Mesa Verde, because she loves history. The one thing she does not like is heights, which makes hiking in the mountains interesting, but usually she is a trooper. We know she is going to do great things in this world!
It’s 2.05am. I can’t sleep. Here’s a film photo I took of the Grand Tetons (best name for a mountain range for all you French fans out there!) 🇺🇸 #grandtetons #americansummer #wyoming
I kinda forgot I made this IG page but I think I’m gonna actually start using it! Thank you to the amazing, friendly staff at the @gatewayarchnps.
When I visited, the site had just changed from a National Monument to a National Park! So they didn’t have the badges yet. But I just got mine in the mail and I’m so excited to add it to my collection! Wooooooooo! #juniorranger #nationalparkservice #findyourpark
Waco Mammoth National Monument in Texas. What an amazing place! Roadschooling is the best! I love being able to take the kids to a different amazing field trip almost every day, where they’re able to learn on site, hands and eyes on, from experts, in person, rather than from textbooks. I love our life and feel so blessed to give this adventure and experience to Ethan & Hannah! Jr. Ranger badge #65
Matsalu rahvuspargi Junior Ranger noorte looduskaitsjate talvine jätkuseminar toimus käesoleva aasta 3.-4. jaanuaril Laelatu bioloogiajaamas. Christmas Eve in Yosemite! Was hoping to be there for a White Christmas but was still beautiful as always! Looking forward to being back up there soon!
Our new Junior Ranger journals just came in today! With all new content specific to the Franklin Mountains, they are sure to get your favorite kiddo out exploring our beautiful outdoors in no time. Ask for one in English or Spanish the next time you stop by the headquarters building in McKelligon Canyon, or the Tom Mays Unit. #betteroutside #franklinmountainsstatepark #txparks #juniorranger
Swinging high with daddy and two ponytails 😍
Happy New Year 2019 Everyone! It’s been good to take a break. Robbie has been asking for a National Park cape to put his #99
junior ranger badges on ... tomorrow is our “real” Christmas, the Epiphany or feast of the 3 kings. I’m thinking of my mom who was an avid and extraordinary seamstress. Seems fitting to celebrate by sewing something for Robbie, finishing this project, celebrating nature and its incarnation through the National parks, and remembering my mom on this epiphany eve. It is also the New Moon, bringing the energies together and getting them ready for a very fertile and extraordinary year ahead. What epiphanies lie ahead for you? May this year be our most prosperous, happy, and healthy one yet - and let’s get those parks back open! We miss you national park service! #nps #nature #momlife #sew #yogamom #nationalparknerd #juniorranger #ritanaomi #mindfulness #epiphany #3kings #newmoon #getcreative #findyourpark
Anna achieved one of her personal goals this week of becoming a National Parks Junior Ranger!
Muir Woods National Park near Nana and Kurt’s home in San Francisco was her proving ground. Not bad, considering the partial government shutdown currently underway. 😉
Anna’s already making her list of other parks to visit in order to earn additional Junior Ranger badges this year. And, she’s been wearing her badge all day today 😊
On avait tellement hâte d'essayer ça! Ils ont travaillé fort, appris pleins d'infos et relevé le défi!! 👍🇺🇸🏜 #juniorranger #stateparks #wildexplorersclub #wildandfree #rvtravelwithkids
