Normally I'm not the one to post Posh drama, (or any drama for that matter) but this is the first time I can honestly say that I'm a little shocked. I've been selling a long time and of course have had people comment some not nice things over the years, but this is a whole new level. 😂
This user sent me a $3 offer on an item that was clearly marked as a final price clearance item, and even stated in the description that price was firm unless bundling with another item. People don't always read, I get it. It happens. No big deal.
I countered back with the original listing price, and then checked the account and saw that this person was new. So I left a comment educating them on posh fees and that a $3 offer only leaves a seller with a nickel left over. They continued to send more low offers, and then declined.. Only to send one final low offer, and then leave this comment.
No matter what platform you use, they all will have fees of some sort. Asking a fair price for an item is not 'passing your fees' off to a customer. A nickel is not a profit, even if you got the item for free, which most of us do not. When you buy from places like Posh, or anywhere, you're paying for more than the item itself. You're paying for the time and effort the seller has put into sourcing the item, washing the item, taking photos, listing the item to make it available for you to purchase, and then packing and shipping the item after it has sold. There is a lot of work, and yes even out of pocket expenses that come with being a seller. Period.
