Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are forever. - Walt Disney
A handsome mule deer buck posing by a fence in rural southern Alberta. There were two bucks grazing in the field and they were quite accommodating in modelling for me from my position at the side of a gravel road. Storm clouds were rolling in and out so the lighting was soft and partially overcast at the time this was taken (also provided nice vibrant greenery due to the on and off rain that day).
SO MANY BEAUTIFUL THINGS ARE BLUE .... THE AMAZING LIGHT AT BLUE HOUR, THE SEA, THE SKY, GEMSTONES, EYES, ROBINS EGGS AND BLUEBERRIES TO NAME A FEW. IT IS A REAL FEEL GOOD COLOUR TO ME 😊 SO WHY IS IT THAT THE WORD BLUE IS SYNONYMOUS WITH SO MANY NEGATIVE FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS .... 😩 depressed, down, sad, unhappy, melancholy, miserable, gloomy, dejected, dispirited, downhearted, downcast, despondent, low, glum 😔 🤔?
This was a rainy early morning in April that turned into my most memorable wildlife experience to date. Moose are one of my favourite animals to photograph... Just look at that face 😍
Love is from another realm. We cannot manufacture it on demand. Nor can we subdue it when it appears. Love is not our choice to make.
💕SIBLING LUV💕 MY LAST POST OF THESE SWEET LITTLE GUYS 💕 FIVE WERE WHITE AND ONE WAS GREY 💕
Early spring walks with visiting friends surprised us to find the river completely frozen! Having hiked the path a few times in the summer we thought we knew what to expect, but the wind that coursed through the valley, clearing the snow from atop the ice, caught us off guard - as did the beauty of the area. #surprisefind #hiddenmoments #winterywalks #friendvisit
Resistance is futile, lol 📷🐶🖤

Just heard the news that @matt.snell
passed away in a climbing accident a few days ago. He was a very talented and inspiring photographer. Thanks for your work and rest in peace! 😞
You can see him hiking up with his headlamp east end of rundle (mountain to the left) in june last year! #rip
Lake Louise was still half frozen at this time. No tourist , only the clap clap of the ice. Loved it 🍀🐻
Looks like either love marks or battle scars above his left eye. Hard to tell sometimes with how aggressive their mating habits are 😂
One of my favourite waterfalls along the icefields parkway.

Another shot of Mr. Tree Bear from last weekend.
🐻 or 🐵? It was incredible watching this guy destroy an entire tree in the process of eating. A bear's dexterity is actually super impressive.
Hard to keep your eyes on road with views like this around every corner.
Reflections across Medicine Lake. This was taken late April when there was still ice, but thankfully it's all gone now.
Met some pretty awesome people this weekend, along with a ton of fat black bears. Ive been on a bit of a break from Instagram as of late but I should be back to posting regularly.
