Turned the radio on this morning and this lovely British voice which I’m a sucker for, was talking to me. I say to me because I couldn’t stop listening and usually it’s my good old music I like on. Never heard of Alan Watts before today, before that moment. And he said some things that really resonated with me. Life may not have been intended to be lived as a journey to some place. But more as a life lived as a dance, here and now not down the road.
If you can find the video link and listen even better than the transcript I posted. May not be your cupa but it certainly worth the listen even if just for that damn smart accent ☺️
Would love some thoughts in the comments if you read or listen♥️ #

Fred Astaire and Rita Hayworth rehearsing in “You’ll Never Get Rich” (1941). Rita, who came from a family of dancers, was one of Astaire’s favorite partners. “She learned steps faster than anyone I’ve ever known,” Astaire recalled. “I’d show her a routine before lunch. She’d be back right after lunch and have it down to perfection. She apparently figured it out on her mind while she was eating.”
