Day 19 of 365. Never thought I'd hit 25k steps today when I woke up this morning, but I did. Came to the gym tonight just to get some treadmill time in, started watching TV and just kept going.
It was a good day.
Ok last one but I really loved these shots!!
So I was thinking I’d be shoveling ❄️ all day and into the evening...totally wrong and kinda bummed about it.
Since I wasn’t getting as many steps as I hoped, I jumped on the treadmill and went 5 miles. Yay me!
If you were a bug 🐞 on my wall you would’ve fell off laughing because I was cheering myself on to encourage myself to keep going, and of course singing at the top of my lungs😂 with the little breath I had left, lol. Anything to keep my mind off of wondering when I’m going to get to the finish line 🏁.
I wish I felt this good every time I jogged, I’d have no problem doing the half marathon.

Working on things that I’m afraid of this year 😦
I’m a naturally risk averse person and don’t like moving in a direction that I can’t see (I refused for a long time to close my eyes in a yoga class).
Pincha has been something that I’ve always avoided even when people say: “you’re ready! Just practice!” It’s ok to move at your own pace as long as you’re moving forward.
Without even focusing on “achieving” pincha, it’s amazing what the body can do if you just move intentionally in any other movement or pose. It’ll come in time 🐌🐌🐌 Turns out falling over isn’t as bad as it is in my head...

This is the most nervous I have ever felt before a race.
More nervous than my first half Ironman.
More nervous than my second half Ironman.
More nervous than any run.
The weather conditions are out of my usual, I didn’t train properly, and I have never ran this far. There is so many scenarios running through my head. But, time to let go off those thoughts and focus on the finish line! **Just remember if you keep pushing you will succeeded. **
I love "rest days." If I can't run every day anymore, then I'll walk on my non-running days. It's been too chilly to ride my trike, but I can put on my running gear and work up a great sweat by simply walking. I've come to love my long, brisk walks nowadays. I've found that walking on my "rest days" makes my actual running on run days feel a little less difficult. Plus, I get just as many happy endorphins from a long brisk walk as I do from a run. Is #WalkersHigh
a thing? 😂 I guess it's because I'm so full of gratitude for the sheer fact that I CAN walk. If walking is really boring to you (like it used to be for me), either A. Walk faster, B. Walk Farther, or C. Take away your ability altogether. Perspective changes everything! 🖤 I actually did 9 miles today, but this was the point when my watch died, and it's currently charging. Considering it was at 19% battery life when I left, and worked for almost 2 straight hours is pretty awesome in my book.

A short, shake-out kind of run was on my mind this morning when I woke up (and slept in, which was so delicious and truly is one of my favorite things in the world). But the morning started to get away from me, as I talked with kids and hubby and enjoyed a cup of coffee with my dad, who stopped by to say hello. My mind started to shift to a hike in the woods — a long walk to quiet my mind and just be. And get some exercise for our three dogs who have seemingly endless amounts of energy. I headed out solo, just me and one dog at a time (they’re a handful all together, especially for one person). I did three loops. The air was so frigid and fresh, and with each breath, I felt my body relax a bit more. My mind still swirled with thoughts of things to do, but the swirling slowed. I took deep breaths and exhaled. I smiled and whispered a few words of thanks. ❄️💛☀️

✔in between games rush over to 5K group training. Calves burning due to jump roping all week. No problem...just keep moving even if it's at a slower pace. We put in work and a few co-workers and I were able to SMILE for the camera ✔basketball

WE LOVE P&C in this house! It was one of the first I got to try and hrlp our oldest with her meltdowns, sensory issues and wild, u regulated emotions. It works AMAZING in conjunction with Valor (another oil we hoard!!!). I only trained as a level 3 Pilates instructor 6 years ago but having attended many additional workshops and courses I’ve been able to evolve my teaching. Today I attended a workshop from a different training school and I honestly believe my teaching will evolve some more. There’s no right way and there’s no wrong way, just the way that is safe for everyone in classes and 1-2-1 sessions with correct control and precision. I love the way Pilates is evolving. Even Joseph Pilates continuously changed his method. I’m now not working till Monday 28th January and I can’t wait! Nope - I didn’t plan on working out today... but let’s be honest... it’s rainy af, I’m tired af, and I’ve been in my house TOO much this week because of the stomach bug that hit half of us. John recovered late last night and has showings this morning. HENCE my need for a mood boosting work out! I don’t do it for the muscles, 💪 (although they are nice 😁) I do it for the empowerment, the endorphins and the way they force me out of my pjs 🤣🙌 .
