Brazilian jiujitsu , has been a part of my journey since about 3 years now.
It has taught me all the text book sentimental shit like discipline, the will to fight and all that , good stuff. Which I don't know if I have learnt properly yet ,
But what it has taught me the most is humility and team work,
it was only a matter of time till when I realised , that jiujitsu is more about the person training next to you , than yourself ,
It taught me to make my team better so that they can make me better.
It's a weird , sadistic , caring and "take my mo**** fucking head off so I can learn to defend it, while trying to take your head off, mentality" .
Bjj has always been our confidence and not the belt, we have been the most savage white belts for the longest time , and that's how we will be remember as blue belts too #teamrelentless
Although I completely believe in the fact that NO BELT will EVER can EVER decide my skill level or define my fighting spirit, DATTE BAYO .
But here I am after three years of asswhooping , gutslitting , brain bursting receiving my blue belt ,
And pledging to be better than my previous self everyday .
