I got this notification on MyFitnessPal on #day68 ! This is definitely an important milestone! My starting weight was 154.6 lbs, and at 4’11” I was definitely overweight. I set my goal weight to 125, because I recall that being a fairly healthy weight for me when I was active and in shape. As of #day68 , I lost 15.4 lbs, putting me at 139.2! So not only did I make it halfway to my goal weight, and got this notification from the app, but I also got to see myself drop below 140. That was great because I’ve been hanging out in the 140’s since around #day10 ! I still have a long way to go in my health and fitness journey, but I’m so proud of my progress so far! This was me walking around in circles in my backyard for 3 miles, on #day68 . This is what the GPS told me I was doing. I don’t think it’s super accurate in that small of a space, so it just looks like a giant scribble even though I was somewhat following a repetitive path. That doesn’t matter, though. What matters is I walked 3 miles! I think it is definitely easier for me to walk around in the backyard versus the treadmill, because even though I’m just in my backyard and I’m not actually going anywhere, I’m outside, and there’s a breeze, and I’m breathing fresh air, and I don’t have to hear the treadmill buzzing. It’s a much more relaxing experience for me, so I will probably be doing this more often than the treadmill from now on. I still want to get into the habit of actually walking around my neighborhood, but I’m happy with doing it this way for now!
