waiting for her summer photos.
Her blonde locks fell over her eyes as she wandered down the gravel path towards the pub at the end. She wore a full green outfit, black boots and a hat to match. The noise around her was loud - horses, workers and endless amount of shouting amongst men. She was feeling more than just nerves as she opened the door to the pub she was applying for a job in. Any woman would be out of her mind to work in a place like this, but not her. She needed this job for more reasons than one. The door slammed behind her as she stood there, the owner, who was sweeping up the mess, was clearly startled and turned around to see the blonde beauty stood there. "I'm here about the job as a barmaid." Her Irish accent was just soft enough to be extremely appealing to anyone who heard it. She stood there patiently as the owner spoke to her. "Are you mad? Do you know about this place?" He point blank refused to give her the job, yet she wasn't taking no for an answer. She was 'too nice' and 'too pretty' for a place like this, apparently. When he refused again after she tried to persuade him, she got to work to show him she could. She sang as she helped him clean up the mess. As she finished to only hope she had persuaded him enough, she a stood before him and said. "In Ireland my singing made them cry and stopped them fighting." The owner then made a witty remark that caused her to smile.
And with that, Grace Burgess became the new barmaid of the The Garrison Pub.
Comment 5x for a rate + fop.
A shy Canadian girl with a weird sense of humour. Once you get to know her you’ll find a friend you can keep for a long while. She loves her friends more than anything in this world especially Jaxon, Mari, Justin, Harv, and Alex. She mostly listens to music when she’s alone or when she’s surrounded by lots of strangers because it’s a place she is most comfortable in. Don’t be afraid to comment or message her at any time because she loves making new friends.
