This may be my new favorite meal since I’ve been on #keto
. Wild flounder and roasted asparagus. The flounder came all to pieces when I flipped it in the pan 🤦🏻♀️, but it tasted amazing. I didn’t follow a recipe; I just winged it.
For the asparagus, I made a super simple garlic butter (mixed softened butter, Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning, and a little bit of ground peppercorn.) and spread it across the spears. Cooked at 400°F for 18 minutes on a grill stone, turning them once halfway through. A greased cookie sheet would work just fine; I just like using the grill stone because it cooks it a little crisper, and I personally think cleanup is easier.
For the flounder, I seasoned both sides with salt, ground peppercorn, Mrs. Dash Table Blend, AND Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb. I sautéed them in butter [because #ketoaf
😂] over medium heat, 4 minutes on each side.
For those who asked where I got the grill stone from a previous post, it’s a Pampered Chef Rokcrok Grill Stone. You can use it on the grill, in the oven or microwave, and it’s safe to broil with it up to (I think) 752°F. It can go from the fridge to the oven, and you can put it in the freezer. Why? I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️, but you can. ☺️ Our cousin @mariahollis22
sells Pampered Chef, so if you want to get one, I know she’d appreciate your business. There’s also ways to earn rewards such as product credit and discounts if you host an online party with her. That’s what I did a few summers ago, and this stone was just part of what I got with the rewards from it. This is in no way a sponsored post. I just believe we should #supportsmallbusiness
