Ok y’all, I saw a post yesterday that struck that #truth cord inside of me & I just needed to share with you
This drink I have in my hand.. let me pause for a second & tell you what it is NOT.. It is NOT a QUICK FIX
It is NOT an ENERGY drink
It is NOT a WEIGHT LOSS drink
It is NOT making me SKINNY
It is NOT a MIRACLE drink
It is NOT a MEAL REPLACEMENT
It is NOT some “FAKE” powder .
No matter what journey you are on, it is going to take HARD work & DEDICATION to climb that mountain to get to the other side! I never have & still don’t believe in a quick fix.
BUT I do believe with the science & technology we have these days it has allowed us to create this bio identical “unicorn juice” (or the ketone operating system... I prefer unicorns 🦄) to put our bodies back into our NATIVE state .
Ya’ll heres what the Ketone Operating System IS doin for me...
It IS giving me WILLPOWER
It IS helping be PRESENT
It IS clearing the BRAIN FOG away
It IS helping me SLEEP like a baby
It IS burning FAT & giving me insane FOCUS during my workouts

So I went to @gnclivewell looking for the @questnutrition cookies cause I heard great things. (Y’all already know how I feel about the double chocolate chip). Each item here is 4net carbs (except the double chocolate chip and PB cookie which is 5). I got the almonds cause they were recommended by Amanda @the_dieting_diva. Also they’re having a sale, buy 5 and get one free. I spent around $13.50 which to me isn’t bad when you think about back in the day when u may get a soda, a few bags of chips, candy and maybe a cake or cookies and gum that you might eat all in one sitting. Just kidding, I don’t care because they’re DELICIOUS.
HOWEVER this morning was a big old BUST. Had this on the way home thinking it would kill my hunger. It did, but just like the turkey last night I don’t think it was real HUNGER, I think it was more habit. ANYWAY got home and proceeded to consume sugar free whipped cream... first straight out of the can, then on a spoon with some ChocZero sugar free chocolate syrup... then with a little sugar free vanilla and raspberry syrups... 😣.
Then had 2 sugar free chocolate squares with a little natural peanut butter (one ingredient: peanuts) and sea salt. Needless to say I went to bed pretty angry at myself.
But I got up and got back on the keto horse... beating myself up about it all day doesn’t do any good. Acknowledging it and trying to figure out WHY can help me be better in the future. It’s an everyday struggle and some days are (obviously) better than others, but I’m still moving in the right direction so I’ve got that going for me 🤷🏼♀️.

BELIEVE ME when I say...
I’ve done no less than 6 million and one different cleanses in my life and just as many fasts.
I’ve dabbled in more “diets” than you could even come up with and rebounded with just as much speed.
As an emotional eater...
or a fast
or any sort of restriction can most CERTAINLY be a trigger for me and GOD KNOWS that’s the usual story.
But this time?

My body didn’t feel like I punished it for 60 hours-
