Ketone levels today. I don't know how I feel about my numbers always being this high. I do know that I'm starving, but I have no appetite at all. I did lose 2.4 lbs this week, but that doesn't feel like much considering how quickly it fell off the first time I went keto. And AGAIN, is like to add the disclaimer that I do not drink any exogenous ketones to get these numbers. I'm not spending $150+ to chase numbers on a meter that essentially don't mean that much. Following a #keto lifestyle isn't easy. That's why for many months last year I was kinda #keto . Regardless of what nutrition lifestyle you choose, to see results you have to have your mind set to succeed. How is success defined? Depends on you. For most of my life success was defined as reaching a particular number on the scale. This year I'm defining success as working out 4-5 days a week, drinking my water, and tracking my food daily while following a #keto food plan for my lifestyle. One tool that I'm using again is a blood ketone meter. Happy to see that my morning reading was looking good! Ketone readings are usually lower in the morning. #anothernsv#keto#ketosis

So so so excited to have a new lowest weight! As I mentioned earlier this week, we were in Virginia visiting my very sick dad. Although I kept a strict Keto diet and exercised, I was out of my element so I really couldn’t tell if I was making progress. But guess what! I was!! I lost 2.4 pounds this week, bringing my total loss to 8.4 pounds since January 1st!
Now I just need some Keto prayers as I leave for a week in Disney starting tomorrow 🤪

These photos are from when my sister visited me at the beginning of the year. We were at some furniture store and she was taking photos of things she liked and me being the silly weirdo I am, I posed like a dork in each photo she took. The one on the left was the first she took, and the one on the right was the second. She showed me the first after she took it to show me how dumb I look, and I saw something I didn’t like, which I’m not sure if you can tell how I show that in the second photo. Now I know I know I know I’m not that big and some may think, “her body is what my goal is, how dare she even complain about it! She doesn’t know anything about needing to lose weight!” And I understand, I get that, I really do... but my family has a history of dying from heart attacks and heart disease, and nobody is really in shape nor do they eat healthy. I. Don’t. Want. That. I just don’t. I don’t want to reach the point where I find something out that scares me into finding better habits. So maybe I don’t have much weight to lose and my size is what you may wish you were already at, but I’m here because I want to be better outside AND inside. 💛🤟🏼

Cauliflower Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The hardest I’ve ever worked for a grilled cheese! 45 minutes later... who am I kidding it tasted like toasty cauliflower and cheese. But the presentation was so nice. 😍🤗
