Long post alert... Had a bit of a reality check today... we haven’t had any scales for over 18 months, well we had some but I didn’t want to get on them 😣 but coming up to our 4-month-versary and feeling like I’ve made progress hubby fished the scales out of the box in the garage. I got on the scales and it was a number higher than I’d hoped. It’s one of the reasons I haven been on the bloody thing!! So after a good long chat with hubby who is my biggest and absolute support I had a few realizations.
1. I have no idea what weight I was when I started, but I suspect it’s safe to say it was my heaviest ever and at least 3-5kg more than my previous HW.
2. I have PCOS. This means that it can be a very fucking slow process... and progress is progress!
3. Although the number was higher that I wanted, if I estimate my starting weight, I’ve probs lost 7-8kg in 4 months!
So long story short... I’m very ok with that!
