WHAT YOU NEED:
🥑 2 cups flour (we used all-purpose), 1 and 1/2 - 2 cups sugar, 3/4 cups cocoa powder (unsweetened), 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt (we love @redmondrealsalt
), 1 packed cup avocado (mashed), 1/2 cup Ripple Original Milk, 1/4 cup water, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips (optional). Also optional: a few sprinkles of powdered sugar.
HOW YOU MAKE THEM:
🥑 Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease an 8 x 8 or 9 x 13 sized baking dish. Set aside.
🥑 Combine the following in a medium-sized mixing bowl: flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
🥑 Next in a larger sized mixing bowl combine the following: avocado, milk, water and vanilla extract. Beat with a hand mixer until mixture is completely smooth (no chunks from avocado left).
🥑 Then, add the dry ingredients to your wet. Mixing with a large spoon until fully incorporated.
🥑 Add in chocolate chips if desired. Gently mix.
🥑 Pour batter into your pre-greased dish and bake 35- 40 min. or until fully cooked through and toothipick comes out clean when inserted.
🥑 Once done, remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
🥑 Top with powdered sugar if desired, cut into squares and enjoy!
