Dada showing Reef the hook and line game. We enjoyed fishing twice today during the slack tides catching pinfish, grunts and undersized snappers. The kids loved getting up close and personal with the fish before we tossed them back home... now if only we were diving under this bridge we may have had some better luck #TheMitchellTribe

Even though we’re all feeling a little under the weather today we snuck out for a morning hike to get some fresh air.
What are all of you up to this weekend?
No your eyes do not deceive you, my son whilst pushing a baby dinosaur skeleton in a pram is about to be gobbled up by a big dragon! This is Festive Road. It's an arts company that specializes in making outdoor puppetry for big events. If you're local to Milton Keynes you may have seen some of their pieces at various events. They're so cool close up. Today they had a free open day at their workshop in Kiln Farm. Do watch my insta stories for more. If you missed it don't worry. You can just give them a ring and check someone is around if you want to visit. Afterwards we returned to Milton Keynes Musem which is only a short drive away and probably one of the best value days out locally.
Watching the world go by while dipping our toes in the icy Atlantic ocean. Bear is fascinated by the waves, the sand and the beauty of distant horizons.
Strange to think that barely a week ago we were still in Kent, where I had to wrap him in three layers before leaving the house.
The kids are thrilled with the sand dune mountains in the Mojave Desert. Two days ago we we couldn’t climb them because of the high heat, but now it’s cold! The ridge was intense because of the high winds and blowing sand, but well worth it for the amazing views! #worldschooling#pupsandkiddos
Spring-like temps yesterday called for hauling out the bikes and washing the car. Both girls were still a bit apprehensive about learning how to ride with just 2 wheels last year, but now a switch seems to have flipped for the oldest. I think there may be a light at the end of the training-wheeled tunnel. As for this girl, 👆🏼👆🏼she’s perfectly content rocking the tricycle for another year.
The UAE celebrates 100 years of Zayed this year, and we just passed 10 years since we moved from China to the UAE and soon it’ll be 10 years of this one pulling funny faces when I ask her to pose for a pic...
Ok! Come hangout with us, we are going to go LIVE here on Instagram in the next couple days to talk about who we are, what it’s like hiking and traveling with 3 kids, and to answer all the questions we have been getting lately! We need your help—Does Sunday or Monday night works best for you? And of course let us know if you have any other questions! You guys are the BEST and we are so thankful for all your support!!! Now If we could only meet up with you all right here next to this lake and answer all your questions! Maybe someday! ❤️
We returned to the Roald Dahl Gallery in Aylesbury today. We enjoyed our visit back in Feb 2017 - It's great fun for young children with hands-on stuff to do. When we last went you paid once and then could return for half price for 12 months - ticking our cheap day out box. Today however we returned to find prices have gone up and they no longer offer that deal 😞 so up to 4 years old are still free, £7.70 for adults and £5.50 for kids or family of 4 is £22. (They still honoured our yearly discount but aren't issuing more) My boys still had a great time and it's a great alternative to soft play - it was quiet too. BUT it's not huge and we wouldn't look to go back for a while. I think they may need to rethink their pricing to be more like MK Museum or Bletchley Park. We'd go more frequently if they put up the initial price but then you could go all year. Love to know what you think. Do watch my stories for behind the scenes on today's day out! Link in bio to my old review if you want more details from last year.
Look at this happy little bunch. The furriest little one pooped in the car on the way to the vet this morning. My oldest required stitches last night.. I'm starting to think our life could be a reality show worth binge watching. It'd for sure have a warning for explicit language and naked streaking, because that's a given. 📻Hozier- Take Me To Church

I am just so in love with this vintage green laundry hamper that I picked up. I’m using it for an end table so I can also store blankets and throw pillows or even toys in it. I’m so into this green right now 🌱💚 what a great find.

Connors balloons only lasted 2 minutes outside this afternoon after Fergie popped one with her feet as she raced past him, and he fell back and landed on the other one lol he still wanted to hold on to the remains though until I convinced him to put them in the bin as we would blow up some more once we got back inside 🤗🎈🎈
