Chapter: रंग बेरंगी वहमो मे में उड़ता फिरू .. and as I sat on this cliff at around 14,600 feet, leaving the lush green Parvati Valley behind and infamous Pin Valley Glacier awaiting me to test my endurance at around 18,000 feet, I was almost sure of one thing by then. Whatever I had been doing and whatever I was about to do was "Insanity".
Yes, if I have to describe this Epic Journey in a single word it has to be Insanity. And I have reasons to call it so. You can or rather, you will do this only if you're insane enough. If you will think logically and with proper rational thinking and considering different aspects and risk involved in it, you'll probably find numerous reason why you should not attempt this trail. Only, just only if you're insane enough, you can think of that one reason why you should do this.
My reason was simple enough, I wanted to get far, very far off the civilization where I see nobody on the complete trail except the few people I am doing this expedition with. Secondly, I wanted to walk as long as possible and wanted to spend as many days amidst this Majestic Himalayan Mountains. And both my wishes came true as I walk along this Epic Trans-Himalayan trail crossing two different valleys spanning over 120kms.
ᴛʜᴇ ᴘɪɴ ᴘᴀʀᴠᴀᴛɪ ᴇxᴘᴇᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ.
This trail will take you deep down to the Parvati Valley and you will cross the Mammoth Pin Glacier to enter into the another majestic valley called Spiti.
Both this valley are absolutely contrasting in terms of everything. Be it landscapes, atmosphere, weather, terrain, locality, religion, everything.
In my honest effort,
to share this most amazing & picturesque himalayan trail (only if I haven't exaggerated it a bit) to the world.
