This rich rust popcorn jumper, mustard bloomers with cream edging and popcorn knit mustard bonnet with cream trim are giving me all the pumpkin spice feels. 🧡I’m holding a Giveaway this Friday and have a fellow momma creator who is offering some dreamy artwork for you to have the chance to win along side one of these sets! I hope to see all my favourite mommas join in 🧡
Who else is excited for Thanksgiving?!!🦃
If you’re feeling discouraged, check your focus. If you’re feeling lost, check your settings. If negative feedback sounds louder than the positive, check your ears. #keeponkeepingon #onward #dailymotivation
Riding is not the only exciting part about a horse, it’s providing heartfelt care, taking time, learning quirks, being patient, being consistent... and forgetting about everything else for the time-being, because it just doesn’t work any other way.
Patiently waiting until we are “able” to go get our tree for this season. Until then we will just hang out in our footie jammies, watch the grinch and slowly transfer our home into Christmas. 🧦🎄✨
Just got back from a 3 day trip & I leave again in 4 days to be in Sacramento for 8 days & then Washington for 8 days. 😜 I should be getting all the things done & ready today but instead, I’m drinking all the coffee. ☕️ Also, Brooklyn’s hand, always wants everything I have. 🤣 #momlife
The house is quiet and snow is falling 😍✨❄️
Getting all the Fall feels 🍂✨
I love this pic of my little cuddly thumb-sucker! He is such a mamas boy and I want to remember him like this always. 🖤
The face you pull when your mum buys you another bonnet...! 🤨

Sometimes, I think its strange how much nature calls to me and my children. As a child, I was told I couldn’t go outside because it was too cold or too wet or dark. I didnt grow up in the woods and outside play was nearly always at a park where an assortment of play equipment had been plopped in the center of a plot of land cleared and tamed by concrete and rubber, and for me, there are still many days when, it is so counterintuitive for us to pack up and go into the forest. But, there is something magical about nature and witnessing the seasons change. We get lost in just being and everyone could use more of that. #gooutside #wildandfreechildren #waldorfhomeschool #themountainsarecalling #lmbpresets #motherhoodunplugged

Why is it always the super tacky character hats that kids will actually keep on their heads and not the ~instagramable~ bonnet that I took 7 hours to knit 🙃 Also Arlo spends the majority of the time shouting asshole at the moment (because apparently that’s how he says both paw patrol and dinosaur) so I’m forever looking like a terrible parent 💁🏽♀️ #arlolukesmith
Oh, that sweet face!
Wearing Christmas jammies in November because it’s never too early to get in the holiday spirit. I just love this time of year, even more now with you here. 👶🏻 🎁 ❤️
Things that make me 😍 then 😭: flippy outtie hairs above her ears #stopdontstop
I’ve rounded up my favorite baby holiday pjs on katiecassman.com 💚❤️
My babe watching his dad leave...he’s not happy about it either. He walks to the window multiple times a day, saying dada. This sweet boy doesn’t understand his work schedule yet. #oilfieldwife #sweetboy
Going through this past weekends orders. That sale was crazy! Can’t wait for the chaos of the holiday season. I get such a thrill out of helping people get themselves and their family on the road to healthier hair!
This is my life in a color palette👆🏻😍 Get in touch for an autumnal photoshoot! Holidays are right around the corner and it’s going to be Christmas Card season before you know it ✨❄️
When you come back home to play with your pig friend smelling like the ham you had for breakfast earlier... #expalinyourself #saysthepig

We’ve had 2 sick kiddos for the past week! They’re finally starting to feel better and we might even make it outside today.
We are so incredibly grateful to work from home, and for all of you amazing clients who have sent us well wishes and healthy vibes. We NEVER take this for granted and we never forget that this life is because of YOU. So thank you ❤️

We had an equally eventful and uneventful long weekend. My dad came for one last visit this year. He won’t be returning until springtime. We did something fun every morning and afternoon. Cousins played hard, naps were pushed back, parents were happily exhausted, but unfortunately, no sign of baby. Having him leave this morning was a harsh reminder that we don’t have any family within city limits, and no parents that live close by.
With only three days until my due date, I find myself longing for my mum and dad. Unfortunately, one can’t be here and the other doesn’t want to be here (or in our lives). So, rather than longing for them, I will have to be the parent that I’ve always wanted to have. And continue waiting for baby. #39weeks #remysleeping
Today is National Caregiver Appreciation Day. I wanted to take time to thank all of the people in my life who care for me everyday (even when they don’t get paid)—my parents, my siblings, my family, my close friends, my therapists, my doctors, my prayer warriors. In a TED Talk about Bipolar Disorder, this woman called her caretakers “Sherpas”. Sherpas are the local guides who help take people up Mount Everest. I thought that was the perfect analogy for what my caretakers do for me.
To my Sherpas - thank you. Thank you for pushing me to keep going up when I all wanted to do was turn around or lay down in the snow. Some days, you even had to carry me. I know how challenging it must be to see someone you love in pain, how exhausting it must be to constantly hear them talk about it, and how hard it must be to not always get that support in return. I could never thank you all enough for the patience, love, encouragement, sacrifice, and compassion you’ve shown me. I am still breathing today because of you. 💕

Jövőhéten újra helyzetjelentés a horgolás projekttel kapcsolatban, addig is gyakorlom a tanultakat. :)
It feels like winter outside but I’m clinging to fall and the impending arrival of my favorite holiday 🦃 The only thing ready for Thanksgiving though is the mantel.
As the temperature drops, so does my head!
Exploring the woods with Hudson 🍁🍂
We’ve reached a new point with our boys—they now occupy each other for periods of time. Luca admires Jackson and thinks he’s hilarious. When Jackson gets put in time out Luca will crawl to the baby gate, laugh at him for a while, and then cry because he can’t get to him. Jackson loves to wrestle him, poke his eyes, grab his cheeks tightly and say, “Oh Lukie big boy, you’re so cute!”, cheering him on to do naughty things like play with the outlets, and teaching him how to do things. My hands are so full with these two, but my heart is even fuller. There are days when I question if I’m mothering well, if I’m loving equally, if I’m giving equally, but then I have them both climbing on me and kissing me and right in those moments I realize that I am—I am enough, I give enough, and I do love enough. I’ve worked for NBC Universal and Yale, but “Mother” is the greatest job title I’ve ever had. It may not get me far in the world, but I’m nurturing and loving humans to help create a more beautiful loving world.
Chevy, you little ham you 💛
This sweet girl is about to be a big sister!!
Bubble...or giant floating mirror! Love their excitement 🙌🏼
She not only stops to smell the flowers, she makes sure everyone else does too. 🌸 (Disclaimer: Considering the fact that there is a snowman in my front yard right now, this photo was clearly not recently taken. But that makes me love and appreciate is even more.)
The kids and @express_and_discard
had off yesterday, so we visited my grandmother and went to the zoo. There are farm animals at the zoo including a cow. I grew up surrounded by farms. My grandfather (and dad as a kid) was a dairy farmer. So, when my city girl excitedly pointed and said, “Mommy! Is that a real, live cow?!” I was really confused for a second. She’s only seen cows a couple of times in her life. 😂 She was excited about this cow bench nearby, too.
Early mornings seem to be the regular around here lately! I’m talking 5am because my child is a crazy person. I like my sleep, but I am definitely loving our early mornings together snuggling on the couch, watching curious george, coffee in my hand, orange juice in his. Yep, these are the moments that are not going to last long so I will take all of the early morning wake up calls I can get because life moves way too quickly. Especially motherhood!
I would love to hear your morning routine with your littles. ☕️👇🏻
Yesterday Felix turned 11 months old! It was also the last day of @brianfauteux
's parental leave.
I am so grateful that my boys had this dedicated time together to cultivate their beautiful bond.
Pearl continues to be queen of our house, but is slowly accepting Felix as a member of her court.
I'm back to full-time parenting *and* working again. Wish me luck!
