still not doing leg days while i let my knee figure itself out, so i’m gonna get buff in my upper body 🤔😈 — June 20 2018
Soooo the last few days has been really difficult mentally. Going along with moving, P and I had our first ‘I wish I had another room to go to’ argument over the stupidest thing (🙄) as well as having bad knee pain in both knees as well as being extremely lethargic. This past couple days have been nothing but annoying and mentally straining as you could probably imagine! -
Luckily, I am a strong women and I have continued going to the gym. I have not posted because my mind is not all the way there. I tried to wear my brace for my bad knee the past two leg days, but it didn’t matter. I couldn’t fully engage because of the pain with every step. On both legs. Ugh, this knee injury continues to haunt me (7/8 years later). -
Off to the gym we go today! I am planning on a 10-15 minute warm up on the bike or elliptical and then hopefully a full arm day. Wish me luck!
Day 903/348/215: (I had to speed up the song due to copyright laws) I am in the middle of making part 3 of my recovery video! I will probably make a shorter one once I am done with recovery, but I wanted to make a long one that included everything so I can see the whole process. This is definitely a journey that was hard, but I truly loved it. It helped me to become the person I am and without it who knows what I would be doing. Got to turn the negative into a positive. I went on college tours today and my mom said I have to wear the brace because it is a crowd of people and someone at Stony Brook University complimented my knee brace. It was super sweet! I see my doctor next week and I am so excited! I hope she will let me run or jump. I really want to go to trampoline zone, but I do not think I will be able to do that this year. I really wonder when she will discharge me. I don’t know if she will really discharge before my tennis season because I think she might want to make sure everything goes okay. But I am not her so I do not know what she wants. I go off to my medical program in a month and I am super excited to be around people who love medicine. It is rare to find people who know what I am talking about besides you guys 😂 I wish I could actually talk and hang out with you guys because you are like the friends I always wished for. #kneerealignment #kneesurgery #kneeinjury #kneebrace #physicaltherapy #patellofemoralpainsyndrome #orthopedics #orthopedicsurgery #mpflreconstruction #tibialtubercleosteotomy #chondromalacia #dislocatedknee #subluxation #chronicpain #knee #kneeissues
