I spend a lot of time scouring the internet (Amazon, eBay, YouTube, Instagram etc) for reviews, advice and pricing on tools before I go ahead and buy anything. I always want to make sure that what I'm going to spend my hard earned money on is going to make my job easier and more efficient and more often than not the things I'm looking for aren't available in stores here, so there is no way to get hands on before purchasing.
Sometimes unfortunately this can be hit and miss.
For example: I remember when they first announced the @milwaukeetoolsnz
M18 Heat Gun, I thought it was going to be a game changer. I bought one from eBay as soon as it was available, I soon realised after using it that it was never going to replace my corded heat gun, so now it has been relegated to small jobs like this RT aerial plug repair. Maybe with the new high demand batteries it could work better 🤷 .
On a positive note the @knipex_official
Electricians scissors rock ⚡✂️, so much more precise than using side cutters for this type of work 👍🏼👏🏼. Also it was the first time using the @jokari_global
co-axial cable stripper and it too works great, so much tidier and quicker than the cheap multi stripper tool that I used to use 👌🏼👏🏼 #tooladdict #worksmarternotharder #ilovetools #doyourhomework #valueformoney #thebest #quality #toptul #milwaukeetools #heatgun #knipex #knipextools #myjokari #jokariaroundtheworld #radio #repair #bulldozer #industrialelectrician #sparky #tradesman #nz
