Ready to go in the oven. I'm looking forward to this one. Pulled pork sausage and vegetable tray bake.
About halfway through they're going to be drizzled with G Hughes hickory BBQ sauce (another thing I brought back from the States 😂) and then a little while later it shall then be shoved unceremoniously into my gob.
There is some debate around exogenous ketones. This is the second day taking them, and the first time my blood ketones are above 2.0. The highest they reached were 0.9 prior to this. Now, to see if the scale moves. I lowered my protein intake as well. I'm learning a #ketogeniclifestyle is not a one size fits all. You have to play with your macros to find what works best for your individual body. #ketodiet#lchfdiet#ketogenic#exogenousketones#perfectketo
For my first year and a half of Keto, I never really did any sort of Intermittent Fasting. I was able to lose weight without it and while I often skipped breakfast, I was still drinking coffee and consuming calories by way of it in the mornings. I simply ate whenever I got hungry, whenever that was.
My weight loss has stalled significantly the past six months and I’ve regained a bit of the weight I lost while I’ve struggled with health issues. So, I’ve been giving Intermittent Fasting a real try this past week and the scale seems to be moving (slowly) again. I have been reluctant to try IF because my sleep schedule varies a lot from day to day but I’m using an app to monitor my fast times.
I’m also thinking about throwing an Egg Fast in to my rotation again because I’ve had so much success with them in the past. Look for one in the next week or two if you’re interested in them.
I’ve been fasting for at least 14 hours each day but trying to go at least 16 hours. Some days are harder than others but it seems to be easier each day. Today I broke my Fast with a Caesar Salad, Bunless Cheeseburger and a few Marinated Mushrooms.
