We are approaching PEAK leaf-peeping, people!
Last winter I spent a lot of time skiing in The White Mountains and I never realized how much warmth and beauty can exist in a place that can be so bone chilling cold. Just like the seasons I try to change my perspective on places I’ve seen before... is there more behind the surface? Is there anything I haven’t noticed previously? The answer is usually yes.
✌🏼crossed this rain brings colder weather and warmer colors 🍁
Anyone else needing an extra coffee/tea/cocoa this morning? I was in Villeray visiting a friend the other day. Man I like that place! But the Plateau will always be home ♡

While the leaves are changing a little later than usual this year, we still got some leaf peeping done and some well needed escape... -
Mount Monadnock is just a few miles over the southwestern border of New Hampshire, and stands tall above the surrounding rolling hills at over 3,000 feet.
Today is a classic Autumn day here in Vermont, it’s cool and a little rainy, the air is fresh and smells of our wood stove and I’m enjoying every minute of this knowing the winter is just weeks a way. #nestprettythingsweb
Leaf peeking and morning run down the Charles River #leafpeeping
The best fall weekend with these sweet people... always missing my other half 👯♀️
Another awesome private in home session. This dog often gets confused with a Golden Retriever but it is actually a Hovawart which is a breed originated in Germany specifically for protection. Having been designed for this specific purpose puts an added weight of responsibility on its owners as it is ready and wanting to protect and defend without needing an order or command. Love is not everything for any dog. You cannot erase what a dog is bred for or have it forget its specific instincts by smothering it with affection. Working dogs like this one especially need a firm handler with clear direction.
Fall dressed to impress during our leaf peeping cold drive yesterday! #leafpeeping
Viendo como el otoño se viste de lujo desde el coche/carro (porque ¡Hay que ver que frío hace!)
