Workout 10/215!! 6AM spin class is always tough because 1) it’s spin class 🙄 and 2) it’s at 6AM 😭😅 BUT I got up and I killed the workout! Slowly but surely getting into a more consistent routine! Can’t wait until next week when I start my first ever #transphormationchallenge

Workout 9/215! Took all of me to curl back into bed after work but I did it and got sweaty during #bodycombat
Post workout meal: 1 whole egg, 1/2 cup of egg whites, 2 slices of turkey bacon and one kiwi! 😋
Only got to do half the class but a 30 minute workout is better than no workout! Still got super sweaty and also got to try out my new cycling shoes!!! HAPPY MONDAY 😊
LP: workout 7/215! A very good and sweaty Saturday morning spin class. My upper body was feeling pretty sore after Friday’s pump class but now my entire body is feeling it! Today will definitely be a recovery day!
Workout 5&6/215! Was alittle late to Combat but that didn’t stop me from working hard and getting a good sweat on. And did my first full Pump class of 2019 and I know I’m definitely going to feel sore tomorrow! 😅

Life has been throwing a ton of curve balls my way the past month. It’s tested my patience, my mental and emotional strength, and most of all my capabilities. I’ve realized now more than ever that I’m stronger and more capable than I thought. That being said, I had to reevaluate my priorities and unfortunately I had to listen to my body and give myself time to rest and relax when I had the time. So here I am; back on my feet and ready to get my ass back to the gym. Spending some time in the sauna with my protein shake after an amazing spin session! Feels so damn good to sweat it out! 😌🙌🏼💪🏼

Once you find some sort of exercise that you love doing and you make it a lifelong habit your body will really thank you for it<3 in saying that, I owe it all to you Les Mills Gym classes for teaching me everything & for making exercise so much fun but challenging at the same time & I just love it! The hype and energy being surrounded by different people all sorts of ages and sizes, but we all hav the same mindset, purpose and goal💪🏽also the awesome instructors who help push us to our limits & motivates us to stay in the work & the cool thing is theres alternative moves to help cater to everyones level of fitness. Started my weight loss health journey in Feb 2017 & My sister who was a current member of Les Mills gym encouraged me to give the class a go & bodyjam was my first one. Even though I died I loved it! & signed up to the Les Mills gym. 6 days a week mon-sat I was there participating in their 🔥🔥🔥classes such as Bodyjam, Bodyattack, Bodycombat, Bodypump, Boxing and, Cxworx, Bodystep, Bodystep atheletic and when my fitness improved I was able to do the high intensity classes, Gritstrength, Gritcardio, Gritplyo. I had a love/hate relationship with these classes because it was such a killlerrrr! But I promised myself to never leave a class early and to just hack it till the end💀😭Lol it wasn't all about the weightloss but also seeing and feeling my fitness improve each time & getting stronger💪🏽it did get easier and i was able to upgrade from doing the alternative moves to doing the actuals like burpees, jumping jacks, squats, increasing weights etc.. & my breathing got better and I was able to last longer and have less recovery time! Also love that you can access these classes online through the Les Mills Ondemand app and you can do this at home or at the gym. Highly recommend these classes because this helped me transform and tone my body! I will forever be grateful for you Les Mills Gym! Find what exercises you enjoy, & don't be afraid to try new things. Afternoon Grit Lovers ! For tomorrow Tuesday 4th Dec at 6.15pm
With Shan being away on holidays ( I know how rude 😉) there will be NO GRIT this week ONLY however we have arranged a very special treat for you all 👌 Kristen will be teaching a very athletic version of Attack for half an hour.. As always there are variations for each exercise however this will be high intensity training. If your after a quick workout with the added benefit of smashing out calories then this class is for you 👊 Normal Grit will resume next week peeps !!
