I was at the counter paying for my son's ice-cream, turning back he was no where to be seen. At that moment I didn't quite think he could be missing, with the receipt in my hand,I went out to his favourite sitting place at the restaurant,I couldn't find him.I decided to check out the kid's play area which I did three times he was nowhere.
Panic set in as I paced up and down the mall asking every security officer if they'd seen my boy.All I could think of was the scene from a movie#themissing
.I couldn't imagine my son was no where to be seen. The search began .All the while I kept telling God to keep my baby safe and to let me see him. Fourty minutes of agony and almost despair,I saw a guard walk down the stairs with my baby. The tears of joy I let freely had him asking what was wrong. He'd gone to his favourite toy shop only to find it closed and so decided to get into the supermarket (where he did a couple of snack shopping 😂😂😂)
While he's busy shopping, here I am scared to death my baby might have been taken by a stranger and I'll never see him again.
Thank God 🙏 I found him safe
I learnt, children can go missing in a split of a second.
teach your children to ask for permission even if it's to get see outside the window,#Never
let go of your children's hand even if it's to pick a call.
