Sabah Ankara uçağında denk geldiğim avukat beyefendi, kendini ev sahibi gördüğünden olsa gerek bir türlü susmadı.
Uçak iner inmez "Ankara'ya hoş geldiniz. Ankara'mız soğuktur ama üşütmez" dedi. Pardon?
Oysa pilot -3 diye anons etmişti. Neyse canımmmmm Yelda ile aynı konferansta konuştuk. Sonra arkadaşım #koşanadam
Ruhan, beni Ankara'nın bağlarına götürdü ☺️ Bu manzarada oturup, mana üzerine sohbet ettik.
Bugün Dünya Depresyon Günü imiş. Ne enteresan konferansta mutluluk üzerine konuşmaya denk gelmesi... "Aslında çoğu zaman mutluyuz, sadece canımız sıkılıyor" dedim. Doğru mu? Düşünelim.
"Well, my first point is that through a mixture of conditions of which the family is the first, there are these two sorts of brains.
One sort takes human nature as it finds it, uses its timidity, its weakness, and its strength for its own ends.
Opposed is the man who, being spiritually unmarried, continually seeks for new systems that will control or counteract human nature. His problem is harder..." 👁
What day is today? Well, for me its a Mixday..lol.. These foods are special order for Ngayah at Gempinis Kauh Temple. Ngayah is social activity performed by the Bali peoples to someone or someplace with nature help, cooperation, and help someone, which is usually carried out jointly by some people, even to involve many people, without hope of reward, for survival better. Culture a ngayah been done by the Balinese long ago. Since the life of the material has not been prioritized as it is today. Because once the Balinese are not familiar with money, therefore, to complete a job done together that involves lots of people, helping each other sincerely without expect anything in return.
Where you find people hard to smile to each other in a big city, life is opposite in here. "Our prime purpose in life is to help others, and if you can't help them at least don't hurt them" Dalai Lama.

“From what we get we can make a living; what we give however, makes a life.” -Arthur Ashe
Giving doesn't have to be something tangible. It can be the gift of your time, your skills, your energy or your unique gifts. It may sound like a cheesy quote, but we all have a certain special gift inside of us. There is no one else in the world with that gift and it is your duty to share it with the world.
For me, the meaning of this quote is to listen to your intuition. Without a doubt, your gut feeling will tell you a lot about a situation. Whether it be a warm spark of excitement in your belly or the heavy feeling of dread that fills your core with apprehension, your body will instinctively guide you without the need for conscious reasoning.
BUT... While intuition is a powerful ability, it's also important to recognize the difference between fear and preference. They can be hard to distinguish, but knowing how to do just that can be instrumental in your growth. If you dread doing something, where is that feeling coming from? If it's a place of preference- as in, you know deep in your core that it does not serve you, fine. But if it's coming from a place of fear- as in, you're afraid of failing/ you're afraid of what people will think of you/you fear the uncertainty, well, that's an entirely different feeling.
As Tim Ferriss said, “What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.” You can use your fear to point you in the direction of what is most important to you because that's usually when the feeling arises.
Bliss and suffering are one thought away.
"Impossible is just a word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing." ~Muhammad Ali

SOCIAL ISOLATION RISKS
There is now robust evidence of the protective effects of social relationships both on morbidity and on mortality. Social connection influences a variety of mental and physical health outcomes.
Research into the effects of social isolation suggest:
Increased risk of depression, cognitive decline, and dementia.
An adverse influence on activities of daily living that influence functional status among older adults
Negative impact on health-related behaviours such as medication/treatment adherence
Increase in health-relevant physiology such as blood pressure, immune functioning, and inflammation.
Living alone, being unmarried (single, divorced, widowed), no participation in social groups, fewer friends, and strained relationships are not only all risk factors for premature mortality (Holt-Lunstad et al., 2010), but also increase risk for loneliness. Retirement and physical impairments (e.g., mobility, hearing loss)
The protective effect of social connection appears to be continuous and important for wellbeing across the lifespan.
