I use to make fun of my previous roommates for making their bed. I thought it was pointless and redundant as you’re just going to mess it up anyways...HOWEVER, if you have been in dark places in your life and it’s hard enough to get out of bed alone (I have been here)...make it! I now make my bed every morning and I started only 3 months ago. I’m telling you; it makes a HUGE difference in productivity, mentality, and stress levels. It sounds crazy I know, but now I understand why some people are so adamant about making their dang bed...it starts your day up for SUCCESS. ✅ Give it a try for a week. What could it hurt?! For dinner I made Sautéed Scallops and spinach ☺️😋🤤 Delicious , simple and clean !
To make this I used a little olive oil, fresh garlic , parsley , pink Himalayan salt & black pepper & lemon juice to season the scallops and after cooking them for a few mins on each side I plates them and then added two cups of fresh spinach to the remains in pan and sautéed them for a few mins and viola!
Anyone can make this ! Healthy food doesn’t mean flavorless boring food ☺️

! You can measure your ketone level, but it’s not as important as knowing both your glucose and ketone level because GKI tells you your body’s relationship between glucose levels and ketone levels.
Your body will burn glucose as energy FIRST before it will burn ketones, so if your ketone level is good but your glucose is high too, glucose will be used first.
GKI (glucose ketone index) = glucose (84) / 18 to convert to mmol/ ketone reading (1.9) = 2.46
To be honest, on that day, almost 4 years ago - if someone had offered me a quick fix/crappy fad diet/pink drink mess - I would have gladly taken them up on the offer.
I was desperate.
I didn’t want to do the work.
I didn’t want to make any lifestyle changes. I didn’t want to give anything up. I just wanted the extra pounds off, and more energy. And I wanted them both ASAP. ⚡️
But the Universe had my back. I was presented with a major lifestyle change disguised as a silly 21 day challenge. If anyone had told me that I was committing to a lifestyle change or something long term or permanent, I would’ve said “no thanks - I just want something quick and easy!”
But 21 days turned into 1 month which turned into 2 months. Then I blinked and had been doing it for 6 months and then 9 and then, BOOM, it had been 1 full year!
So, I kept going and it became second nature. I mean I was feeling better and better EVERY SINGLE DAY so why not keep going?!
Now, almost 4 years later, I’m still going. I’m forever grateful that a quick fix didn’t fall into my lap that day.
I’m healthier and stronger than ever and didn’t risk my health with any fads or chemical bullshit.
You don’t have to make a bunch of changes all at once. All you have to do is start.
