So I’ve had a lot of people ask me about this whole hammy curl for a pullover thing. So I thought I’d do a little exercise review 🤔. After trying it.. it’s def innovative but probably not the most effective replacement for the pullover machine that seems to be non existent in gyms now a days. From my experience, I spent a ton of time just trying to adjust into a comfortable position to even start, and from there.. the movement seemed to be overloaded way too much at the extended position and came to a kinda awkward position during concentric motion. On the plus side .. really good stretch and tension at the fully extended position .. I ended up feeling like I got the most out of it with almost like half reps toward the extended half of the motion. So completely useless, not exactly... but would I use this movement regularly.. probably not 🤷🏻♂️

Sometimes it is hard when things happen to you that you don’t want to happen or something doesn’t go your way that you were desperately hoping for. It doesn’t seem that great at the time but then when you look back after a few weeks or a few months, maybe even a year or so and realise that thing you thought was wrong turned out to be so right. ⠀
So whatever is happening to you, or has happened just remember this....... yes you will get over it and it isn’t the end of the world. It may take longer than you want but it always comes right in the end. ⠀
Plus there’s no better feeling than looking back on something that happened and saying to yourself ‘I’m so glad that happened as it got me to here’⠀
It’s awful when you can’t see a rhyme or reason as to why you are put in a certain situation but life is all about learning and coping. It will only make you stronger in the end. ⠀
Good things fall apart so better things can fall together 😊⠀

Morning Thursday here we go.
So grabbed a note pad and said I'm going to start writing my workouts down.
Okay so it looks hard core, but thinking about my abilities and what I know I can do.
I know this is definitely doable 😏
Just because it's written down doesn't mean I can't and won't alter it.
I may complete 4 sets of 3 different weights versus the 4 sets of 4 different weights.
Do what you can do!! This is not a competition (okay depending on what your doing it for)
Want to start keeping track, and monitoring my progress a bit more.
I've also started to note down my meals, and how much fats, carbs and protein I'm consuming.
First thing I noticed was that I'm still consuming a lot of fat through out the day.
By keeping track I'm able to make suitable adjustmemts, and ensure that my intake is correct.
Please don't feel you have todo as I do. I'm studying to be a personal trainer and these things I find aid with my studies.
I want to ensure that my programs work and the results are 100% authentic. So when I'm working with clients, they will be participating in a proven programme.
