And thanks to my coaches @nina_s_ross_ & @bradleyjackson88 I personally think I looked my best yet. It was an exciting and emotional day. I didn't place and although there was a sense of disappointment at first when all the adrenaline came down, I know I've won on many other levels....because I: • Was in my best shape out of all three competition I did this year • Felt healthy physically and mentally 🏋🏼‍♀️💆🏼‍♀️ • Had 100% support from my coaches Nina & Brad throughout the day and they were on hand every minute of the day. 🔝💯🤳 • Had the best prep in the run up to the finals and managed to recover from my previous show, make improvements to my shape and do all this while feeling energised and healthy thanks to my food prep team @bfitcafe 🥑🍳🥞🍚🍜🥗 • Got to wear a beautiful @bikinibkb @bikini_mama Bikini 👙 • The @get_bronzed @blackmagictanuk girl looked after my amazing tan and always kept smiling every time I came for touch ups 🧖🏾‍♀️ • Had the most beautiful make up & hair 💅🏽 done and pictures/videos taken by @zzviedre who may I add has been the ULTIMATE support and friend to me throughout the past few months...straight talking, caring, supportive, understanding, non judgemental...all around beautiful and an amazing friend I will never let go of 💕💕💕 2018 so far has been a year of a lot of changes & challenges...and even though not every day was perfect looking back on the past 10months overall it's been one heck of an amazing year....and that's all that matters 😊🤗😊 And that's all the Monday motivation I need! So a few bits from my workout today. #fitnessfist is a great brand of gyms. However I must share the following: I have been training in their Top Ryde Facility in #Sydney . It is meant to be a Platinum Gym, therefore more expensive. My usual day to day branch is #carlingford . That is a passport gym. Both have exactly the same amenities, bar 1 or 2 machines. However the platinum gym has no internet, INFINITELY fewer classes than the cheap passport gym, no key cards for their guests to purchase and 1 staff in particular whom has not been helpful at all. I was looking for a new card and all he did was tell me they ain't got none. Didn't tell me when i could get a new one or whether there was a waiting list or what... Moral of the story - + + expensive doesn't always mean better. Neither one is better than the other in my opinion. . I, myself, have competed in the past...but I would probably never do it again. . 🖤🧡long post🧡🖤 — So somehow we ended up eating out 3 times last week, but honestly, I feel like I did pretty good. Better than any cheat day ever before! 😃 — Usually when we have a real cheat meal/day we overeat (like a few weeks back). But last week we got Chipotle after leg day, and I still managed to stay within my macros and calories. Then we had our real cheat meal and ordered in pizza and even got chips at the gas station (exactly like that week we messed up and felt like crap afterwards). BUT this time we got a medium 2-topping pizza, I got a small dish of alfredo with mushrooms and spinach, and a bag of Funyuns +some mango slices w/ chili 🥭🤤 my husband is able to eat more calories since he’s a guy🙄, so he had a whole sub, chips, and some jerky lol. — We managed to space it out throughout the night and didn’t overstuff ourselves before we went to the gym that morning (we’re awake all night and sleep in the day). We even had a full body workout very day! All those carbs really gave me an energy boost, especially since I didn’t overeat or stuff myself by eating everything all at once. I was just so happy I didn’t feel like crap afterwards like I usually do when we order waaayy too much food. — The next day we went to see The Nightmare Before Christmas (hence my spooky outfit) at the symphony (yes, with a live performance while the movie played, it was awesome!) Afterwards, we were so hungry so we went to a restaurant since we still wanted to go to Dave & Busters to play for a bit and maybe have a few drinks. We had a beer each at the restaurant and I got a veggie pizza with feta cheese. It was so good and pretty healthy. AND I was only able to eat a few slices to my surprise (I can usually eat a small personal pizza in a hot minute!) 😅 — So then we went to D&B and I was sweating playing game after game. AND WE DIDN’T EVEN GET A SINGLE DRINK!! 😇 — Honestly idk how to explain it, but I feel like I did so well with those few cheat/treat meals we had. I just feel like I’m getting better at balancing my life so that we can have fun and unplanned nights like that. Especially with the holidays coming up 😬🥳 . . . ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
