Oh just casually straddling a lilypad. Quick commission I made for a friend. Digging the feel of the minimal outline with shaded elements. More of these? What do you think?

I was lucky enough to visit Monet’s home in Giverny, France quite a few years ago. It was so beautiful with the gardens, pond and seeing his studio was amazing.... “From 1883, Monet lived in Giverny, where he purchased a house and property and began a vast landscaping project which included lily ponds that would become the subjects of his best-known works. In 1899, he began painting the water lilies, first in vertical views with a Japanese bridge as a central feature and later in the series of large-scale paintings that was to occupy him continuously for the next 20 years of his life.” .

God’s timing isn’t our timing. Sometimes, it’s inconvenient. Often, it’s slower. But, it is always better. Trust in it.♥️
Picked up trash at lake Iamonia. Happy earth day 😁
The switch to working from home allowed for moments like this... and that my friends is everything. #lilypad
