That sweet face is my "niece" Jada. Jada wears her @liveagreatstory like a champ. She wears it until she's TOLD she has to change it. That's commitment. Need an XS shirt like the one she has? We have them and they'll help fund the purchase of shoes for @loveisinthebag. You have 5 more days.

Drew calls this my "desert goddess" shot ☺️ Don't know how he did it, but the husbabe sure does have a way with light orbs ✨ •••

Can you tell I love history? Actually, it more an affinity for stories and history is full of them.
As I walked around this beautiful park, it reminded me of the great sacrifices people are willing to make for something they believe in.
During the Winter of 1777, in this very spot, soldiers were away from their families, with only a promise and no delivery of pay, many ate their shoes because they had no food, diseases like smallpox, influenza, dysentery, and pneumonia ran rampant through the camp and took over 2500 men's lives. And yet the army held together, knowing the ultimate goal was freedom.
I love the inscription, a quote from George Washington, who saw the troops through this dreadful Winter. "Naked and starving as they are, we cannot enough admire the incomparable patience and fidelity of the soldier."
When I was a little kid I HATED the Mr Rodgers show, I thought it was lame and I wanted to be cool. I wish I had known it was ok to be soft, to maybe lay off being a smart ass all the time. Life can be pretty hard, especially if you don't feel like it's safe to walk through the world without all the shields of sarcasm, and pseudo toughness. To be honest the sarcasm is something I enjoy, and it's how I play, but I keep learning to step into softer spaces too, and I'm happily becoming more lame all the time. : ) - “What do you do with the mad that you feel
When you feel so mad you could bite?
When the whole wide world seems oh, so wrong...
And nothing you do seems very right?
What do you do? Do you punch a bag?
Do you pound some clay or some dough?
Do you round up friends for a game of tag?
Or see how fast you go?
It's great to be able to stop
When you've planned a thing that's wrong,
And be able to do something else instead
And think this song:
I can stop when I want to
Can stop when I wish.
I can stop, stop, stop any time.
And what a good feeling to feel like this
And know that the feeling is really mine.
Know that there's something deep inside
That helps us become what we can.
For a girl can be someday a woman
And a boy can be someday a man.” - There’s a child growing in this young woman’s body, a body that lives on Skidrow. I’d like to get some folks together to help this woman. If you’re in let me know! 📸Photos taken by my beautiful friend in the last photo @leylasomalita_theveganqueen
Today I took long exposure shots on film. Will there be anything on my rolls when I develop them? Will there be tears of joy or tears of pain? Stay tuned to find out Monday 🤷♀️ // #naturalpotato

Our favorite photo of the trip, (air) kissing on our camels, who were brothers... and there was no getting them to smooch too despite our efforts 💕🐪💕 •••
Our journey into The Sahara was nothing less than extra-ordinary. We absolutely could have never predicted the beauty, the magic or the unusual circumstance that we found ourselves in... while our mystery trip into The Sahara ended up being very different than what we expected in many ways, it was even more incredible in many more. Swipe right to enjoy our little gallery of sand + the rainbow we awoke to on our last morning after sleeping to the sounds of the desert rain ✨ (many more photos to come)

Worth a climb to see St. Peter's Roman Cathedral. And continue up to see Jefferson's Rock with a beautiful view of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers.
And yes, Jefferson's Rock is named after Thomas Jefferson, who apparently loved this vantage point.
Here's some street style images from the last day of London Fashion Week. Unlike my last post - this time I behaved 😇 and even ended up with tickets to shows, but went and watched Blank Panther a second time instead 🤪✌🏾 #wankandaforever#newpostnewme (oh and hiiii @adwoaaboah 😍✨)
Perfect words for a difficult day. It’s been four years’ today since my Dad passed away from brain cancer on the 23rd of February 2014. For those who know me, I rarely talk about that part of my life..but what is worth drawing attention to is a new charity - The Charlie Teo Foundation – funding brain cancer research. Dr. Teo started this charity only last year in 2017 as he recognised that over 60% (sometimes as much as 80%)of the money that goes to large corporate charities goes into the administration costs with little left over actually going to cancer research – where it is truly needed ❤️. I hope my donation helps support your charity and your vision – a world free from brain cancer. Keep up the good work :) •
