Remember the days you prayed for the things you have now🙏 My day at work was a story along the Pacific Coast Highway. After the 5pm show, I stopped to take in this stunning view. So amazing sitting on this cliff with the waves crashing down below, soaking up the sun and feeling grateful for this very moment.☀️🌊💕#momentofzen #grateful #seastheday #californialove
My knee surgery has finally been scheduled for next month and I am just thankful to have got to this point and to now be so much stronger which has only been possible with help and advice from lots of wonderful people, especially the highly knowledgeable and fantastic coaches at Warrior Academy gym @warrioracademyhk
, thanks especially to @triciayap
who was never too busy or too pregnant to offer advice to someone who was pretty clueless and for recommending my brilliant physiotherapist Tim McCosker @coreofit_hk
who found me a fantastic orthopaedic surgeon in the public system so I can actually still afford to live and eat in Hong Kong. I’m also blessed to have such supportive colleagues, family and friends.
Having an injury has been an ongoing challenge this past year but it has forced me to adapt and what I have learnt from it has been so valuable. I see people every day living in much more difficult circumstances or with painful long term physical disabilities and I’m reminded how lucky I am. I have more perspective, gratitude and empathy and I feel a more patient yet determined person because of it.
My next challenge is dealing with the initial post-op recovery period when I may feel more vulnerable in this hectic Hong Kong environment. Starting a countdown to try and get as physically and mentally prepared for it as possible and to keep reminding myself what it’s for. I cannot wait to be able to go back to doing activities I love, to try more new things and most of all to be able to get back out to the outdoors to enjoy all nature has to offer. Getting to Nepal is still a top travel goal.
This photo is from one of my favourite days of the year, pre-injury, tramping with my dad along the Hooker Valley track in Mount Aroaki National Park, New Zealand. I ran and even skipped like a massive dork along parts of this trail because I was just so happy being amongst such beautiful scenery and it was really special to be able to share it with my dad. You can never take moments like these for granted. 😊❤️ #liveauthentically #newzealand #mountaingirls #mountains #outdoorwomen #lovemountains #naturelovers #hippy #trave
The only photos I really got tonight. Piper happily stuffing her incredibly dirty face and Liam getting his butterfly mask painted on by a slightly unsettling clown.
They had a blast 👏🏼
This is a note to myself as much as it’s a note to anyone. So often I find myself caught up with concerns like how I’m going to meet my income goals by the end of the year or what I’m even making for dinner tonight. And let me tell you: that gets daunting. The truth of THIS moment, though, is I’m listening to a quiet breeze rustle the trees outside my window, and literally nothing about this isn’t awesome. There are so many awesome ‘right nows.’ This is a reminder to spend more time there.
Saturday mornings are better when they’re not rushed ☕️
When I saw @meldoty.art
‘s prompt for today, nautical, I immediately thought of the obvious one - a boat. The. I thought, I can probably make a quilted boat. Wait! Let’s do a PIRATE SHIP!! So here we go! Hooray for today’s #melssat

Please ask yourself: Do I let people contribute to me?
I’m so grateful for this man @richlitvin
who’s changed my life.
Rich coaches some of the top performers in the world, @jackieknechtel
introduced me to him as a speaker for one of his events and he ended up asking me a question about my father that touched me so deeply it brought me tears right on stage.
That’s when I knew what a master he is.
Rich took me under his wing, taught me how to create coaching clients by being of service vs. trying to market myself.
Because of him, I’ve been so fulfilled coaching CEOs, generating 6 figures annually in my first 2 years as a coach, coaching just 6 days a MONTH (3 days every other week) and most importantly, being of service daily. (My personality and good looks may also have something to do with it :)
Rich taught me something profound that I’ve taken with me: “Slow down to speed up”. Actually slowing everything down, practicing being present in the moment and taking the time with each person. That’s made all the difference.
If you have ever wanted to coach or you are a coach then this is an incredible opportunity for you: Rich is hosting his Rich Litvin Intensive, Oct 4 - 7 in L.A. There are just 4 tickets left. Link is in the bio. It’s a life changer and if you can make it, you will be giving yourself and the people you impact a huge gift.
Love you Rich! Thanks for being you ❤️🦄 #LifestylePerfected
Amazing Butterfly Wonderland🦋
This girl!! She is seriously one of the funniest and most authentic and compassionate human beings on earth.
M - Sweetie, what do you think we should sell our superfood nutrition packs for? I'm thinking $5 or 6.
B - Well mom, how much is more?
M - $6.
B - Well, then we should do $5, because I want them to have good nutrition mom.
Cue my heart exploding. I adore her spirit so much!! Her new homeopathic remedy has REALLY allowed us to see HER these last few weeks. One of my favorite moments was putting together sample packs. Kids can be on the spectrum and still have really big and amazing feelings. They aren't numb. In fact, I'm willing to bet they feel e v e r y t h i n g more than we do. Maybe that's why they don't speak or engage. The world is a lot to bear in a body you can't always control.
P.S. sample packs are ready for shipping! $5 each gets you collagen for gut/joint/skin health; organic greens with 54 different epic fruits, veggies, and herbs; and a matcha green tea ENERGY stick. All organic. All food being fuel. All free shipping/personal delivery this weekend only. xox
S P I R I T | Let yourself be surprised. A divine thought offered by a treasured therapist today. What if we let ourselves be surprised? What if we gave permission to our brain to not have to figure it all out, let if off the hook? Our brains earnestly want to help us manage life and keep us safe. We spend a lot of that brain power making lists, forecasting the future and living in structures that keep our lives tidy and predictable. But what if we didn’t more often and more of the time? I’d bet we’d be pretty surprised. #liveyourwell
Ok, PG, I take it back, you really DO have some cute spots - it took so much self-restraint to walk out empty-handed today, but I may not be so well behaved when I return next month. 😉 #dandylines #travelstatus

So much of my life is spent at home 🏡 & so much of my heart ❤️ is poured into my love of cooking so I decided to expand ✨Seeking Grace & Gratitude✨ by adding a Heart & Home section to the blog. In this section, I plan to post recipes & other “home” related articles. As well, I’m working to add a “culture matters” section to address current cultural topics that affect a women’s life. I will still write devotionals & book reviews but am excited to venture into other areas of lifestyle too as a way to share my life with you 😊 See the link in profile 👆🏼 for the first recipe posted - Raspberry Crumble Bars 😋
Posting two thrift finds less than 24 hours apart wasn’t my plan, but the littlest sister and I drank coffee out of these adorable .50 cent mugs while I decorated for fall today. 🍑🍓👭 My husband would argue we have enough mugs, but I try to convince him you can never have enough cute mugs. 😅☕️☕️☕️
I love his strong opinions. I adore his sense of wonder. I admire his creativity. Motherhood is magical.
We’re starting to get the hang of this whole Paris thing and we’re loving it. We were warned by many humans that people here in France hate tourists and are mean, so either we don’t look like tourists or y’all all lied. Everyone that we’ve met so far has been so friendly and kind to us! Everyone has also tried to talk to us in French until they realize we’re just staring and look dumb founded.
Day 2 has been amazing and while we make not look like tourists, we did the touristy things for most the day. We visited the Louvre, Tuileries Garden, the Arc De Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and walked all over Paris and ate crêpes. 🇫🇷
No more freeloaders 😂 so exciting seeing chicken eggs!
I used to lose my wallet. A lot.⠀
Then I started taking out just the card or two that I needed that day with the intention of putting them back in my wallet or purse at the end of the day.⠀
So I not only speny time trying to find my wallet, now I was also trying to find the cards I toolk from it.⠀
No wallet never really worked for me. And I was always on the quest to find the 'perfect purse' so much so that I started making my own.⠀
But it was never right. I was always searching for a purse because that's what women use...a purse.⠀
It was when I found this beautiful wallet from Sage with all of the essential oil blends I would want with me that I realized something.⠀
I am not a purse girl.⠀
I am a backpack girl.⠀
When I gave myself permission to let go of what I was being told I should be using to carry around my things, and embraced what I actually needed everything fell into place.⠀
And I am happy to announce that I never lose my wallet...or my backpack.⠀
What are you holding on to because you were told it was something you 'should' have or something you 'should' be doing?⠀
Learn to listen to your nature. Embrace it. Become unapologetically yourself and release everything that no longer serves you.
Happy Friday! This is a great reminder to practice #selfcare
. It’s important that we all work but let’s not neglect #rest
, and #reflection
that are integral in keeping us moving towards success and ultimately, towards a happy life. Let’s practice some self care this weekend - rest, recovery, reflect. ⠀
If you need to learn how to prioritize self care and realign your perspective, please contact me to see how we can work together to help you embrace self care.
BE YOURSELF 😜
Stop worrying about the opinions of others and do WHATEVER sets your soul on fire 🔥
If you want to start a Youtube channel... DO IT
If you want to start a clothing business... DO IT
If you want to start a dog walking business and work online... DO IT
That last one was me lol.
Whatever it is you want to do just DO IT. As cliche, as it is...you only get ONE life!
So you may as well spend it doing what you love.

It’s Friday AND it’s #InternationalDayofPeace
! A happy Friday, indeed! How are you enjoying the last few official days of Summer?!
Happy Friday Everyone! What do you have planned for the weekend? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I'm thinking a chill weekend reading my latest book with a few brisk walks enjoying the fall weather. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How about you?
I postponed having children to live a fulfilled life. All cool and dandy, and my life was indeed very fulfilled. I did not realize, however, that I had a limiting belief. My belief was grounded in conformity that I grew up in - a woman is supposed to serve her family and completely forget her own desires once she has children. Once I had children, I proceeded to live exactly according to my beliefs. WRONG.
After hitting an emotional bottom I started re-discovering what it means to be a mother and a wife and be happy at it. Turns out, a woman feels happy when she lives a life in accordance to what she wants. An ambitious woman that chooses to stay home and not pursue her career goals is a risk of suffering a mental breakdown. Same for a woman that would rather stay home with her children, who instead chooses or has to go to work. Ultimately, children and families need emotionally happy mothers. Ladies with career goals, don't stop them after having children.
Exciting things are coming.
