Roses || It may have been a tough week saying goodbye to my sweet Grams, but at peace and with Grandpa is where she deserves to be. I like to think of her reunited with him after 36 years, sitting behind a heavenly version of their house together in a very lush rose garden filled with every type of rose (especially her favorite Crimson Glory roses) that Grandpa has kept perfect for her, like he did for years when he was alive. It’s golden hour and fireflies everywhere, and they’ve never been happier.
Thank you to everyone who has sent our family the sweetest messages, called us to relive memories of Grams, sent us flowers, given your thoughts and prayers and just been there to hug us. She was an incredibly special woman to many, and the outpouring of those who attended her funeral showed us that she touched lives went beyond what we even knew. You all are wonderful, and I will be eternally grateful. Coming home, I’m so excited to have SO much to look forward to tomorrow with a beautiful bridal shower planned by my mom, my mother in law, my maids of honor @kaitrobert
with help from @amandadayrose
who flew all the way up from Virginia to celebrate with me. I cannot wait to see all the surprises they have up their sleeves tomorrow. And again, I’m so thankful for the amount of love they’ve poured into planning and making it special. Happy Weekend, friends 💕
