It’s been 3 years since I last popped in to say hi. My mom became very involved in helping #rescue #dogs
find their forever homes. So we decided to take a break so she could continue her mission. But along the way, I started not feeling very well. It was a sad day for all of us when we found out I had a very aggressive form of cancer. Well, as you can imagine, life pretty much stopped and dad and mom devoted all of their time taking me to my chemo appointments and just making sure I was having the best life. I crossed over the rainbow bridge last year and I’m running free with all of my fuzz-besties. Dad and Mom were so sad, so I decided to send them a gift. Her name is Daisy and she’s the sweetest lab/dobie mix. They #adopted
her from a lab rescue and life is #happy
and fun again. Of course, there’s a little bit of me in her too so I still get to go to the beach and run like the wind!
Mom is now back to her rescue work!!! YAY!!! She and two friends, who are rescue gurus, started their own rescue. And this is where @SmileyTailsRescue
was born. I don’t want to toot my own horn but I feel I had a paw in all this so we decided to use my account in hopes that you all can help us find Smiley Forever Homes for those that are less fortunate. It feels good to be back! #rainbowbridge #liveforever #adoptdontshop #adopt #dogrescue #goldenretriever
