In Key West, you navigate that fine line between reality and illusion, even on a regular Tuesday.

💕The freshest oysters I’ve ever eaten , although I don’t look too impressed I’m pretty sure so sprayed lemon juice in my eye 😂😂 _
🙌🏼This is my favorite thing about visiting new places is trying local fresh foods that represent the area. 🥰One because your supporting the local businesses but two food is always going to better when it’s locally made and sourced 🎣
"Make time for you. You are worth it"
2-1/2 years ago, I would tell myself I was getting up in the morning before I went to work to try [TRY] to do some kind of 10 minute yoga/core whatever shit I could find on pinterest... I barely woke up in time to make it to work on time.
Whatever I'll just do it after work, right? WRONG. I was so tired and had 0 energy after work so I would just go sit at home and binge watch Netflix all night.
1-1/2 year ago, I joined an accountability group of people that would make sure I worked out everyday and would motivate me to get it done... I still couldn't wake up early enough to do it before work.. BUT I did do it after, I had all these eyes on me! No way I was skipping a feel good workout!
1 year ago, I was sick of coming home after work when I was sleepy AF and still working out... Which resulted in me going to sleep later.
Idk how or when exactly it happened, but something clicked.. I now make time every morning to workout and make time for myself. [Which means I have all evening to study, grow my online business, and spend time with Max]
When will you make time for you?
When will you realize you're worth it?
Rainy days with my little sunshine ☀️
We just finished watching Lion King with brother for the first time & I forgot how much I loved that movie! It did cost me $5.99 for the Disney family movie monthly subscription, but I folded under toddler pressure 🤦🏻♀️
Baby G’s obviously living her best life in her new goodies that came in the mail last week! Thank you @lovedbaby

Our trip to the OUE Skyspace is up on my blog! Check out this amazing experience overlooking the city of Los Angeles. You can also ride a glass slide attached to the building! Definitely a must to any LA bucketlist! @thelegalblondeblog

Discover the area around Kampong Glam, lots history and culture. The vibe and colors are amazing.
One of the lessons I learned from my mom when I grew up was to stand tall and go after my dream....no matter what.
I still do that every single day

Fun fact - on this very same street there is a Swedish bakery that is selling semlor 😋 A semla is a cardamom-spiced wheat bun filled with almond paste and topped with whipped cream 😊 So unexpected and so multicultural ❤
📷 Memory of our first big trip together. It was in Finland in July 2015. This picture was taken in the beautiful Nuuksio National Park. @lucaswalbrecq
I have been surprised by the beauty of my surroundings yet again.
These cypress forests growing out of the bayous and lakes of Mississippi and Louisiana have an otherworldly quality to them, and I imagine there are so many secrets held here, so much to discover!
It was pretty chilly while we were here, and the wildlife seemed to be hiding (no alligator sightings🤷♀️🐊). Our walks through the swampy forest and onto the boardwalks were quiet, but also fascinating! The kiddos love to spot things that are different-little yellow flowers fallen onto the trail, rainbow colored lichen on the old stumps, and tree trunks completely bowed over to the ground again but still shooting branches up to the sky.
We were also lucky enough to enjoy a visit with one of my aunts who I hadn’t seen in about 25 years!!! 💗 How amazing to be able to reconnect after so much time had passed, learn more about that side of family, and introduce her to my own family.
Not only was it wonderful for my children to meet her, but for them to realize that we have friends and family that extend far beyond our hometown (or Savannah or Ohio or Kauai). That there are people we love all over this world, and we carry a little bit of the spirit of these places with us too. That home truly is ‘wherever we park it’.
We really do have lots of Loose Rootz.💫

Fountains ⛲️ like this can be found all over Granada, many have clean drinking water 💦 and are frequently used by locals for a quick drink, but by not tourists. 🤔 I think most tourists assume it’s not safe to drink or that it's a decorative fountain🤷♀️
This fountain ⛲️ just outside the Alhambra’s Justice Gate was dry. No drink for us, but we could sit on the steps without getting wet ☺️
