Lets be honest, carbs are boss, they are in the foods that the majority of people love and get pleasure from eating. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € This is probably the major reason people believe carbs are bad. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Its not carbs that are bad its the behaviours that are associated with high carbs foods that are bad. People just eat too much of them. Carbs donโ€™t need to be completely removed from your diet, they just need to be controlled and distributed around your day so that you can get the most out of their uses. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Aim to priorities carbs around your exercise sessions, some before you train then the majority of your carbs after you train. This will help with your performance in the gym and also your recovery outside of the gym sessions. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Try your best to not blame certain food groups as the reason behind weight gain. So long as you have a level of control over the foods your eat you will be fine!

So you give into that craving and go to town on a tub of ben & jerryโ€™s and now youโ€™re sat there feeling guilty and annoyed that youโ€™ve โ€˜failedโ€™ your diet. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Does that sound familiar? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Restriction of specific foods has its time and place especially if short term results are the main focus but I can probably guess the majority of people want to lose weight and keep it off and have healthy balanced lifestyle. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € The trick is balance. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Would having a small chocolate bar everyday, that fits into your calories, help with your cravings and therefore stops you from going mental with food over the weekend? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Of course some restrictions will need to be set in place to get results but take a minute to think about the rules youโ€™re setting for yourself with your diet. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Are they too harsh? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Will you actually stick to them?

Not losing weight? Your first thought is to eat less. Am I right? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Initially many people who need to lose weight will do so by cleaning up their diet and eating less calories (calorie deficit and all that). Now there may come to a point where you will need to adjust your calories by lowering them further to keep weight loss going and this is a viable strategy. However there may come a point where your calories are too low and this could be having a negative effect on your weight/fat loss goals. Now each person requires a different amount of calories for their goal so low calories for one person could be moderate for another, whilst high calories for someone could be low for another. So it is hard to say what is low calories but there a few signs to lookout for such as extreme tiredness, weak in the gym, headaches, irritable. So how does this effect weight loss? Well as you eat less your body will slow down certain systems and you will generally be less active causing you to burn less calories than you were originally, this can make it harder but not impossible for weight loss to continue. My advice would be to find a suitable amount of calories that work for you so that you can still train hard, feel good during your day and still make small steps towards your desired goal.

Everyone is looking for a magic trick, a quick fix to lose weight. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Would I be wrong in saying youโ€™ve thought about this at some point to? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € I was the same when I first started to lose weight. Constantly thinking thereโ€™s got to be something Im missing, Im not losing weight fast enough. Doing google search after google search trying to find the โ€œnext best thingโ€ to help me lose weight. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € As time has went on and I have the opportunity to learn more about the process that are involved in fat loss it became very clear that there isnโ€™t no trick or quick fix it all seriously comes down to energy balance (I feel as though I say this in nearly every post but If it helps get the message though to people then I will). Itโ€™s a shame that there isnโ€™t no magic trick cause who wouldnโ€™t love to have the ability to lose the stubborn body fat with minimal effort but that isnโ€™t the case. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Please donโ€™t be falling for fad diets or gimmicks that are out there promising insane results by going on some mad diet or using only a power, pill or cream to โ€˜shred body fatโ€™. You already have the answers and the ability to get the results you want you just need to apply it. This wonโ€™t come overnight but after a couple of weeks or months you will start to see progress.
There is no such thing as fat burning foods (kinda contradicts the title of this post I know), but there are certain foods that you can eat that can help you maintain your calorie balance more effectively and that is what will help you lose fat. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Make sure to pack your plate with veggies. Vegetables allow you to have high volumes of them without the calories creeping up, this helps mentally as seeing more food on your plate makes it feel less like youโ€™re dieting. Also veggies are high in fibre which is great for dealing with hunger. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Protein sources should also be a high priority for your meals. Some protein sources that you could consider would be meats, fish, poultry or meat alternative such as quorn and then there are also plant based sources such as beans and Tofu. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € My final recommendation for foods to eat for fat loss would be lower calorie alternatives for the sweet foods you love. Nowadays you can find some incredible low calorie alternatives to ice cream, cakes, fizzy drinks etc that will allow you to deal with that sweet tooth without compromising on calories.

You shouldnโ€™t have to ban or eliminate certain foods from your diet to lose fat/weight. So long as you have control and accountability for calories in the food you chose you should be able to enjoy many different foods in your diet. There may come times where some foods may need to be removed for short periods of time but not forever!

It can be so frustrating seeing the scales go up even when youโ€™ve been working your ass off in the gym and sticking to your calories. Try not to let this get to you as the chances of you putting on 1 pound of actual body fat overnight when dieting is extremely slim!

Being scared to eat certain foods whilst in the pursuit of weight loss isnโ€™t a good place to be but itโ€™s easily done. If you do find yourself demonising certain foods or food groups please remember that it all comes down to calories. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Of course there are health benefits to certain foods and you may have trigger foods that you need to avoid as they cause binge behaviour but the completely removal of a food doesnโ€™t need to be a part of someoneโ€™s diet!

Got this from @russellbrunson after reading @dotcomsecretsfreebook . . There are a few questions to ask yourself before you start any campaign. 1. Who is your dream client? 2. Where are they? 3. What bait can you use to reel them in 4. What results can you provide for them. . Russell Brunson talks about creating almost like a dream client profile or avatar (even give it a name) and describe his/her characteristics and traits. Then figure out where he or she would be hanging out online. . Or...market to everyone and tey and sell to everyone. Running around working hard not smart.

Interesting response to the poll I put up yesterday! โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € So what is the right answer? โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Building muscle takes longer than losing body fat. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Of course the amount of time it takes to lose body fat will depend on the persons starting and end point. Going from 30% body fat to 10% will take longer than going from 30% to 20%. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Letโ€™s say someone wants to lose 10lbs of actually body fat (not just weight). It would take less time to lose 10lbs of body fat than it would be to build 10lbs of muscle (again 10lbs of actually muscle not just 10lbs increase in weight). โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Building muscle takes time, it can often feel as though youโ€™re building muscle as your body fat drops as you can see more definition and will often give an illusion of looking โ€˜biggerโ€™. In the early stages of someone lifting weights, people can build muscle and lose fat at the same time but as time goes on the rate at which you put on muscle will slowly decline. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € It is important to have a realistic time frame for your goals to help limit any frustrations!

Some main steps for fat loss! โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € 1. Calorie deficit. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € You've probably heard of that one ;). Put your body into a position where it is burning more calories than you eat. This can be done via activity or reducing how much you eat or a combination of both. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € 2. Weight training. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € The more muscle you have the better your chances at burning fat. I'm not talking looking like the HULK in a week but we need to preserve the muscle you already have or possibly build some. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € 3. Consistency. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € You've said you're going to go the gym 3 times a week? Then make sure you go 3 TIMES A WEEK. You've said you're going to eat 1800-2000 calories a day then make sure you're within that calorie range. Be consistent and you will be able to identify whether your training/diet is working and implement changes if needed. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € 4. Patience. โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ € Depending on you as an individual it has probably taken a fair bit of time for you to have gained enough fat to notice that you need to make a change. So if it has taken a decent amount of time to gain fat it is going to take just as long if not longer to lose it. Don't be setting unrealistic goals of losing 5+ pounds per week every week for the foreseeable future. So long as you're heading in the right direction thats what you should be focused on.
