Lately I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by a lot of different things life’s been throwing at me. My relationship with food has been struggling, my self care has been struggling, but life’s not all rainbows and glitter and I’m trying really hard to honor where I’m at and acknowledge that no singular moment in time defines my truest self.
In attempts to pick myself up, I planned a mini self-care day just with me myself & I. It was so freaking refreshing. I got my hair cut, hit up a cool restaurant for the first time, THEN made it to @traderjoes
for some grocery therapy. AKA the best kinda therapy.
What do you do to pick yourself up when you’re feeling down?? I would love to learn more ways to show myself some love. 💜

in Sarasota yesterday & it was such a cool place with a quick serve concept. I went for their “six” bowl, in attempts to try as many things as possible at the same time. 😂 It came with 2 bases, 2 proteins, and 2 veggies options & a sauce on the side.
➡️ bases: sweet potato noodles & romaine salad, proteins: baked almond chicken & herb grilled steak, veggies: roasted mushrooms & Parmesan broccoli, sauce/add-ons: ginger sriracha & black bean corn salsa. Damnnn this shiz was 🔥 and I cannot wait to go back and try more.
