I tried Eggslut this morning
This place always has a line in front of it, but it is deceptive because the interior is very small
Great marketing though, it makes it look as though the restaurant is always in super high demand
I ordered the breakfast cheeseburger
The initial impression as I inspected it in the rapper was underwhelming, as it looked to be all bun
However I realize the bun was stacked after I unwrapped it fully
ingredients were perfectly balanced with each other; The beef patty was about medium and deviously greasy without over saturating the bread
The bacon was perfectly crisp and the cheese was melted at just the right consistency to be gooey but not stringy
The one downside was the egg, which was done over easy and the yoke subsequently dripped off the bun
That said, There was a enough bun to mop it up
The mayonnaise spread the used was a particularly flavorful and the addition of a few strategic a slice a pickle added a refreshing crunch and a blast of saltiness
overall I would give it a 4.5 out of five stars, cooking the egg bit longer would have improved upon it, But the flavor and satiation fact was definitely excellent

To continue with the pumpkin theme (don't look for it to end anytime soon 🎃) here is my incredible pumpkin overnight oats 🤤 Guys, if you don't make overnight oats, you NEED to start. It literally takes 2 minutes to throw it all into a Mason jar and pop it into the fridge.
🌟PRO TIP: the best way to have oatmeal is by letting it soak overnight. Grains are supposed to be soaked or sprouted to reduce phytic acid (impairs mineral absorption and is called an 'anti-nutrient')in order for us to be able to digest them better. So, to make your body happy, prepare oatmeal the night before and let it soak until morning.
I took 1/2 cup of plain rolled oats, 3/4 cup @califiafarms
coconut milk, 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1 Tbsp chia seeds, 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice & 1/2 Tbsp pure maple syrup and dumped it into a small Mason jar. I stirred it up well and stuck it in the fridge. The next morning I warmed it up a little, put it into a bowl, added pumpkin seeds, a little drizzle of maple syrup and an extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. VOILA! You've got overnight oats!

I had an eye-opening experience yesterday regarding the food that I'm consuming. I won't bother you with the gross details but I will say that my choices are about to drastically change. I'm not turning into a fully raw vegan but I am going to start to really fall in love with what I eat instead of just tolerating what's available to me. I know this is a very big decision to make right in the middle of wedding season, but after last night, I gotta do it!
